whats the serial number on the back? if it's the rb25 number, i'll give you 200 for the hand controller

just hooked up 12v to the solenoid, no clicking at all, so am i right in saying the solenoid is stuffed?

hey guys, got myself one of these gizzmo ms-ibc boost controllers for my 33 but can't get it to boost! have wired it up correctly but no matter what i set the duty cycle to, the boost remains the stock 5psi, makes me think theres problem with the solenoid not closing and it's just the stock wastegate opening up when i hit 5psi, have tried most things, but can't get around it, does anyone know how i can check the solenoid operation? also when i recieved it, the remote button that came with it wouldn't work and was wired incorrectly at the loom at the back of the controller, which i corrected and now the button works fine, makes me think the solenoid may be wired wrong also, does anyone have a picture of the solenoid loom that plugs in the back of the controller? and also where have people installed these, thinking bout putting it in the ashtray, if i can get it to boost! looks like a fantastic and easy to use unit, but i'm getting frustrated! any help is greatly appreciated.

small black wire at the end of the motor (closest to the passenger) coming off the coilpack harness just needs to be connected to the last bolt on you coilpack frame, if yours is a series 2 could be different because of no igniter pack not sure.

when i changed my plugs recently, i forgot to connect the little earthing wire that comes off the coil pack loom, same symptoms as you.

any chance of selling me the hand controller only?

same thing happened to me, only way is to cut the door trim, and get in there with a screw driver and a hammer and smash the locking mech up till it lets go, very frustrating problem but when you see how crap those locking mechanisms are you understand

i did a compression test last nite, and wen i was putting my sparkplugs bak in i dropped 1, decided to put it back in then fired up the car, it was very low on petrol (warning light), so i tried to get to a servo, but took a while to get there, (traffic and shit), and the car developed a slght miss only on idle, i didn't notice whether i had been there since i started it, was in a rush, i thought it must have been the fuel pump sucking air instead of fuel, so i filled up at the servo but the miss is still there, now my question is could it have been the dropped plug or is it a fuel related issue ie. sucked up sum shit when i almost ran out and is clogging the filter? any help i would appreciate! thanx

turbo oil seal failure possibly, and have you looked at the auxiliary air control valve in regards to the idling may need to be cleaned?

very nice results mate looks like it would be very quick on the street, looking at a similar package as yours, got the microtech and everything else, just dunno which turbo as yet but i'm after sumthing fun to drive on the street and the gt-rs certainly looks fun, does anyone know of a decent tuner of microtech in brisbane, because everyone i talk to regards them as being a bit rough, but obviously it comes down to the tuner, just trying to find one who specialises in them at the moment.
