  1. I have put alloys on my wifes car so these are the old wheels and tyres that came with the car

Im pretty sure the pcd is 5 x 120mm but i could be wrong so i dont think they will fit a skyline but good for a trailer or just the 2 good condition tyres or hubcaps

    they are

    2 x 205/65/15 bridgestone re92 approx 70-80% tread

    2 x 205/65/15 bridgestone re92 approx 30% tread

4 x holden hubcaps on the standard black steel rims

ONE RIM HAS A BUCKLE IN IT which looks like someone ran into the gutter and i wouldnt drive on this rim.

Would be good just for the 2 decent tyres on them. even just for a thrash although i dont condone that sort of behavior :P

Pickup from bankstown, no postage obvioulsy

    $30

  2. Hey fellas have a master cylinder brace suited for an R33. it has 2 bolts that screw into the strut tower (where there are 2 factory threaded holes there) and brace the master cylinder to prevent flexing of the firewall etc

It has been painted just a quick coat of black so it didnt stand out on my car.

    $30

Also have a set of r33 gtst series 1 standard black dials. these are JUST THE DIALS, no needles, no moving parts etc. I got the 300km/h ones from the group buy a long time ago and now dont need these as i have sold my baby

    $15

R33 series 1 HICAS unit, not needed as i used a HICAS lock bar. The unit comes AS IS.. Not sure if it is working or not as i had the hicas light come on in my car so i just removed it instead of trying to find the problem

    $15

    located in bankstown, will post

if my prices arent reasonable let me know

  3. Selling my car as i have a company car and a baby on the way so its has to go. It has only been driven on weekends for the past 6 months

Tyres are about 80% front and rear. Car has been modified tastefully keeping it stock looking to avoid any problems.

  4. post-33559-1201638810_thumb.jpg

    Here u go

best to use copper grease as it has an 1100deg rating (nissan use this in their shim anti-squeal kit)where i used wheel bearing grease which has only about a 300 deg rating. might be hard to find tho as its not sold in supercheap last time i looked

so mine stops until i give it a bit of hard breaking than it starts again but its coz i suspect that the grease melts and is not performing like it should, but as i said copper grease should do the trick

  5. At this point... so you will want more later on?

easiest and most complete is a tomei/nismo kit which are approx $450 which would flow much more than 220kw, more like 300kw or so

another easy one is walbro kit which comes with most parts and only costs less than $200 but wouldnt flow much more than 250kw

Also a bosch 040 is about same price and flow as walbro but not sure on installation. bosch 044 flows much more but again not sure on install

if i could do it again. Buy right from the start, nismo/tomei kit

GTR pumps are good altho need some minor modding to fit in the cradles and also must consider the age of the fuel pump

  6. the profile is the percentage of height compared to the width of the tyre

    So..

    275 / 40 = 110mm

    275 / 30 = 82.5mm

id say that is a fair difference

BTW if your guards aren't rolled/lipped i think you will have troubles especially if lowered. 265 should be fine

  7. Thanks for the comments, all taken into account

Yes i forgot to mention i do have a hicas lockbar. And you're probably right it is my driving style

Re the brake squeal. Yes it is sorted enough for me to not worry about it.

Greased up all the pins and shims, et voila noise is gone! although it does come back after the brakes heat up after some spirited driving but i am pretty sure it is because i used wheel bearing grease instead of copper grease (which i now have a hold of - 1100deg rating!) which, with the heat is melting the grease and it loses its greasing properties.

    Thats my half-assed theory anyhow.

    Thanks once again lads

  8. hey all i got the whiteline front and rear swaybars from the group buy and also pineapples fitted in the 'all round performance' position, standard otherwise

Just wondering sometimes when i go around a bend in the wet the front slides than the back comes around. I have the front on the softest setting and the rear is on either the stiffest or 2nd stiffest setting

can i help this from happening or i have to practice better weight transfer??
