hey thanks for the info guys. I think R33Cruiser is on the same page as my "tuner", the plumbing back side is whats causing the apparent massive headache. Either way we've given the BOV install a miss this time round, but when i get the car back tonight, i will have a look and try and swap my stock BOV with the HKS BOV. I do have the adapter you are referring to with the BOV. but with blocking the return pipe, whats a good way to do this? as I will attempt to swap BOV's myself tonight.

MY TUNER MENTIONED HE WOULD PUT MY BOV ON FREE OF CHARGE AS LONG AS IT WAS SIMPLY A BOLT ON JOB AS I AM ALREADY PAYING 2,500.00 FOR A POWER FC, WALBRO PUMP + LABOUR. HE RANG ME LAST NIGHT AND MENTIONED THAT IT WASNT GONNA BE AS SIMPLE AS BOLTING ON SINCE HE INSISTED WE PLUMB IT BACK. HE SAID THE BOV ITSELF HAD NO ROOM TO FIT AS A DIRECT REPLACEMENT FOR MY FACTORY BOV AND THE HKS PLUMB BACK EXTENSION WASNT LONG ENOUGH TO CONNECT WITH MY PIPE LEADING BACK TO THE ENGINE. HE WAS PRETTY MUCH TELLING ME ITS WAS GOING TO NEED WELDING, FABRICATION, CUTTING, ETC. HE PRETTY MUCH TOLD ME TO FORGET ABOUT IT. I CANT FORGET ABOUT IT AS I HAVE JUST FORKED OUT ALMOST 400 BUCKS ON THIS BLOODY BOV AND I WANT IT ON MY FRIGGIN CAR. IM NO MECHANIC BUT IS FITTING THE HKS BOV ON MY GTT SOMETHING I COULD DO MYSELF? I DID REPLACE MY FACTORY AIR FILTER WITH A POD FILTER MYSELF SO IF I WAS CAPABLE OF THAT SHOULD THE BOV BE SIMILAR IN FITTING? THANKS BOYS.

I TRIED BD4'S , THEIR NUMBER IS DISCONNECTED. DO YOU KNOW IF I CONNECT THE PLUMB BACK, WILL THE FLUTTER BLOW OFF NOISE TURN INTO A MORE OF A WHOOOSH NOISE. ALSO, DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE BAD SIDE EFFECTS ARE IF I DONT CONNECT A PLUMB BACK TO MY BOV?

HI ALL I JUST BOUGHT THE HKS SSQ BOV FOR MY R34 AND HAVE FOUND THAT THERE IS NO PLUMB BACK PIECE LEADING BACK TO THE ENGINE. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN SOURCE THE PLUMB BACK KIT FOR THIS BOV ASAP? DOES ANYONE KNOW THE SIDE EFFECTS IF NO PLUMB BACK IS PUT IN PLACE RUNNING 14 PSI? THANKS HEAPS GUYS

i just had my R34 out from the work shop same exact problem, spit fire coils and plugs gapped to 0.8 The car has never ran better!!!

when this problem kicks in, the car loses complete power. in most cases, it happens in cold weather. What would you say the prob is most likely?

ok, i just rang my mechanic and told him if he thought it could be R&R. He said that its definetely my boost sensor that is causing the prob as he said even at 7psi the car was stuttering on the dyno. Can R&R occur at 7psi. Keep in mind this problem was occuring back when the car was stock standard. Now I have a full 3inch exhaust from the turno, FMIC, pod filter and boost controller set at 7,10 & 12 psi.

HEY GUYS DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THE BOOST SENSOR ON THE R34 GT-T DOES? I AM HAVING A BOOST PROBLEM THAT OCCURS VERY RANDOMLY BUT OFTENLY WHEN DRIVING HARD. CAR LOSES POWER AND DOES NOT BOOST TO FULL POTENTIAL WHEN THIS OCCURS. IT MAKES A STUTTERY SOUND WHEN HAPPENING. MY MECHANIC SEEMS TO THINK ITS MY BOOST SENSOR THAT IS FAULTY, BUT I HAVE A FEELING THAT ITS NOT. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INFO / ADVISE? CHEERS

Hey Boys Looking at geting rims ASAP, want to go for the black on black look. I am tossing up between the black starcorp impuls (left) and the Octane rims (right). For now the impuls are in front as they seem to have alot more dish. I managed to find a pic of a magna with the impuls to give me an idea what they may look like on my black R34. What do you guys rekon?
