While walking to school today a woman ran past me with her dog. Her thigh, and I honestly am not sensationalising this, was the thickness of my forearm. It was ridiculous. How can you run 2 meters when you're that thin? Super scary.

Yep, I can understand that. Usually there's just a wave of 'rockpool is overrated blah blah blah'. Honestly I don't go there just for the steak. If so I would just make it at home exactly how I like for waaaay less $ than aaaany place around. I think a large part of dining is the physical space and service etc, not just the food, and that's what pays the premium. To me their steak is perfectly acceptable and the whole experience is worth the price

I have the exact same problem! I barely ever drink, and nearly always order an entree for a main or a main at max. Peeps will buy a bottle to 'share' then split the bill evenly. Very frustrating because they don't notice the difference and if you bring it up at the end you look like a tight arse. Usually just try to always bring notes and lots of change for the times that aren't like the above. Unless the service is terrible or it's a take away joint I'm generally adding 10-20% on top for the bill, with that margin underpaid bills rarely come about.

I guess you can rest assured that this environment would be unlikely to house rodents Ooph, I hope not, haven't been there in a while. There's also a place directly opposite that does some nice things. If you want a bad kitchen story, my mother bought a restaurant in 2001 which we renovated. While doing so we found that the septic drain from the male toilets was higher than the inlet for the bar dishwasher and had been filtering dirty water through there since the original place had opened...... Ew.

Kebabs may be nice, but it will never beat a $12 Parma from Spred Eagle hotel. Six varieties Sunday Monday Tuesday. The place rounds down the bill for me when I take my mates and last time when they brought out the wrong parma by accident (extending my wait by 5 little minutes) they served me free of charge. Now that's pretty awesome. Still just my CBR1000RR... But stay tuned man.... Very very very very soon there should be an addition as long as everything goes well
