rancher - what is R&R? havent played around with the AFM, recently put the front mount on about a week ago. i think its one of the clamps, cause they look very cheapy due to cheapy cooler kits. thanks guys for the help so far. ill have a better look tomorrow. never knew about this limp home mode. will check and let you guys know how i go. thx

yeah i drove it home and has been sitting home since. i dont know whats going on, and am new to the turbo scene. it only happened this afternoon. i was thinking maybe traction control is crook, cause it feels like traction control is on even though wheels not slipping and traction control is off. going to check it out once the sun is up. any clue where to start? eg vacuum hoses, intercooler piping? any help will be good. thx

just today my car started to play up. its a r34 gt-t triptronic. 1st gear is good. 2nd till 4th runs very slugish and wont rev over 3000rpm. once hit 3000rpm it feels like the car is held back, drops revs by a touch and just holds under 3000rpm. any ideas what the problem could be. very few mods done to the car. voltage stablizer, 6000x300x105 fmic, blitz pod, hks front pipe, blitz cat-back exhaust. other than that nothing has been done to it. need the car for easter weekend. and apparently when car is held back after 3000rpm black smoke is poured out of the exhaust. help will be greatly appreciated guys. cheers

hi guys im new to the world of turbos. recently stepped up from a honda prelude to a r34 gt-t. car came with blitz pod filter and nismo suspension. and i put hks front pipe and blitz nur spec cat back exhaust system, as well a gfb hybrid blow off valve. thats pretty much all thats done to the car. i have some plans for the car and just want to have some of you guys sugguestions. i have bought an apexi black pen style turbo timer, 600x300x105 fmic, turbosmart dual stage boost controller and hopefully an apexi safcII soon. im putting the fmic on either this week or next and wonder where i go from there. i was thinking fmic, boost controller (low - 5psi and high-12psi **please advise me on what boost i should set it at safely**) then when i get an apexi safcII put it on and tuned. any other suggestions? and also after i put my blow off valve on the car started to backfire/exhaust poping. is this normal? or is something wrong there? i was told its because its running richer now. btw my car's a triptronic so i dont want to be running heaps of power where it cant handle and dies. thanks all and your advise will help heaps.

hi guys. i recently bought a r34 and not long after was ran down by a learner drive who was speeding. now im in the process of repairing my car. i've notice theres a wire hanging from the vertical support. do anyone know what this is for? the only thing that comes across my mind is airbag switch. if it isnt, where is the airbag switch located? anyone can help me out would be great. thanks
