Hi Guys, Just wondering what people would suggest would be the best "Bang for Buck" upgrades i could put on a r33 4 door skyline? I am only new to skylines and was hoping to get some of your past experience advice in helping me upgrade the skyline in the cheapest way possible... I wouldnt boost it over 12.... My mate accidently turned his boost up to 19 Psi for a 4 second period.... BOOOM....Turbo blew up straight away.

Thanks man. how long should it take to dry? its like 24hrs old and still a little sticky...i mean...its touchy dry.. Heard it should take 5-7 days to dry properly...is that true?

Hey Everyone, I have decided not to go to Ultratune...found a quite reputable performance shop with a dyno (still cant believe it) here on the Sunshine Coast....I am spending at neat $1400 cash today on the below items...plus they a tuning it on a dyno (excited), my very first one.... Timing Belt & Bearings Belt tensioner Pulley Idler pulley Spark Plugs Ancillary belts (alternator, water pump and the like) Auto Transmission Fluid Nissan N1 water pump Check Engine Mounts Radiator Flush Cam Seals Crank Seal Break Fluid Power Steering Fluid Injector Clean Check Hoses Chuck her on the Dyno............. Total = $1400 neat...may be a little less when i go to pay.... Cant wait to have it running better again. Christian

I had a look at the list before i made my decision on what i should get done... I live on the Sunshine Coast in QLD..... So its hard to find anyone who specialises in my type of car.... Perhaps i should re-phrase my question. "Is there anyone out there that would trust Ultratune with this kind of work?" Thanks for your help so far Christian

Below is what i have decided on replacing from reading through all the topics i could find on 100,000km service.... which there arent really any that help. Could i suggest that we make a sticky for the 100,000km service questions...???? I am only new, but i guess that helps in picking up on issues. This is my first 100,000km service on any of the cars i have owned. Could i please get you guys (and girls) to see if i have a complete list, and if you'd trust Ultratune to carry this out??? Maybe even provide me with some estimates of what these items would cost? The guys at Ultratune seem young and drive performance cars...so i am hoping that helps them carry out things like this...but please give me your 2c, as i trust you are all have had experiences in this field... I have already changed the Oil, Oil filter, Fuel Filter myself.... After reading this forum and being new to a owning a skyline...... I have tracked down a direct replacement for an RB25DET motor from repco and is only costing me $90. Part is: OZA395-E2 made by NTK (not NGK) - Part fits N14 Pulsar's etc...but apparently will do the same job for the RB25DET, more reliable than a cheap $60 Ford EL sensor where you neet to cut wires etc. Can someone back up my story? Looking for others who have heard the same thing. Christian

I recently bought an R33 GTST and had WOW put in a $900 odd dollar stero system....my whole audio system has engine noise. They have tried installing all new parts and wiring.....still nothing happens...although it is now only in one speaker...or should i say RCA line....and it has been changed twice now.... seems to be worse when i go into higher RPM.. Ummm...try turing your frequency filter on your amp down lower (As this made nearly all of my problem go away).... Let me know, as i hope this helps you. Christian
