I am the first owner to do any mods to this car and it was 100% stock when I got it. Right down to the Nissan Exhaust. I havne't put many ks on it, but another car that I really want has come up so I thought I would put this up and see if there is any interest. It is an awsome car to drive, but there are some things you just have to let go. There are a couple of holes in thr font bumper. Nothing major, but I'll put you can see it in the pics. It comes with a spare bumper in better nic. Also have a full set of Coupe rear pannels (including tail lights) to do the conversion. Open to Offers around the $7.5K Give me a call on 0410 463 334 if you have any questions or would like a look and a drive.
  3. I have updated the thread now to actually reflect what I have left. The chasis and the engine and the diff all got sold and picked up this week so not a huge amount left.
  4. The sleeving was a bit over $250 but way cheaper than the $600+ for a new one. Only thing is that once it is sleeved you need to sit it in a warm dry place for at least a day to let the glue cure. Longer if you can. I'm happy with the results. 1J
  5. It was in good nick and went in my car. Then it failed and I just had to have it sleeved and rebuilt. Oh well, atleast I now know it will be ok for a while!
  6. I'm in the same boat as you. You just have to look at the EJ wagon in my garage to see I can't let go. That said... there is a series 1 GTS4 sedan parked in the driveway now. Extractors as you call them don't get changed much at this end. The stock units flow really quite well and only need changing when you change trubo configuration to a high mount or somthing with a bigger and different flange. Intake manifolds are also pretty damn good, but what you connect to that is where you make the gains. The air comming into the turbo is important, so that is why pod filter in ducted cold air boxes are the go (or like me a much cheaper thought good foam panel filter - uni pro NOT hks). Then the turbo to the intak manifold is important with its intercooler to cool the intake air heated by the turbo (a trade off of the turbo running on super hot exhaust gas) and then all the piping. The mods on here are where to start and just keep building up. When you out grow a mod you can easy sell it on here to the next person getting into it. Stock turbos are low mount. Hope that helps...
  7. Well i've bitten the bullet and am now getting the injectors added and the boost control hooked up so i'm booking a tune with CEF11E. I'll post the results and before and after dyno sheets up here once it's done.
  8. Havne't got it out yet. No bubles, but shrinkage around the vents. Not bad though. I'll post a pick once it's out.
  9. Anyone out there just had their car on the dyno and tunned? I'd like to hear about your experience...
  10. Thanks for that CEF11E. Your input on this thread is more than welcome. Now for the rest of you. How about some comments from the people who parted with the money out there?
  11. Well. Seeing as how I'm not getting any interest for Dr Drift I'll change tack. Who has had CEF11E tune their car and what sort of results did it get? How long did you spend on the Dyno?
  12. Well I was just trawling through the ACT area and found this thread that looked interesting. Turned out that I had started it some time ago and then forgot it. Update. I have since had the 100K done along with all the fluid in the car (not sure about the windscreen washer). I've been very happy so far. I have it in there again right now getting the master cylinder fixed up since total failure (not John's fault at all). I highly recomend John and Angelo. Great guys.
  13. Anyone out there even a little keen. This is a good oportunity to get your stock computers remaped to suit your car.
  14. Dr Drift has a really good rep on here and is known around the scene as one of the better people for tunning the stock ecu on your skyline. He can adjust your standard computer to get better throtle response, better economy and more power using the mods that you have to the best of their ability. I am trying to put together a group of people here in Canberra to do a day of tunning sessions with Dr Drift. Is there any interest out there? Check out his sight at DR Drift
  15. The exhaust is not for sale as it is on my sedan. Sounds really good too.
  16. More info on the AAC Valve? No gear boot, it's on my car. There was a nice blitz pod and it got smashed.
  17. I bought it already smashed so I don't have any pics. It is the red wine type of colour.
  18. I'm up for my 100K service and was thinking about using Trojan Motorsport. Has anyone had any relelvent experience that would be worth sharing? Cheers...
  19. Prices dropped... Others to be added as I get them off.
