  1. What fuses should I look for? Since its an engine converted car the stuff is in different places and probably unmarked.

    I get fuel pressure at the guage near the fuel rail so fuel pumps are going I believe. Dunno bout injectors.

    Setting he timing is going to be shit I rekn. Apparently aftermarket ecus don't set the timing off the Induction loop thing? And I don't know what they have set it too. Or will it just be tdc in regards to setting cas timing?

  2. hi mates have a problem with my rb20 hilux that started this afternoon. I started it up and reversed out my driveway. car died when I put the clutch in to go from reverse to neutral (does this a lot when cold. usually restarts straight away. CAR HAS HALTECH E11v2 so prob cold start tune). today it didn't restart. cranked for ages trying to get it going but wouldn't go and battery got too flat.

    I changed the spark plugs now so I know there good.

    mainly what I want to know is how do I make a thing ive heard of before where you connect a spark plug lead to the coil pack then put spark plug into that like a common spark plug setup so I can look for spark to rule out spark issue. im not sure how to connect it onto the coil

  3. It's got 3 inch exhaust with some small cannon muffler on the end of it. There's at least a cat frame in it.

    Surge tank. 044. Ecu. Injectors. Think 100mm intercooler with 3 inch pipe both sides and a plenum that we all love for bit if extra lag apparently.

    What did the plasma man plenum cost you in lag Roy mate?

    Think wastegate is some blue china thing. Thought it was turbo smart originally but put camera down there and took photo and had no brand on it from what I could see

  4. its in a 2wd hilux ute so its pretty beefy.

    had a mate watching the gauges this afternoon. said it hit 15 psi about 120kmh in 3rd. dunno but. he said he hasn't seen it go over 15 psi which is possible going off dyno sheet as the last psi's come real slowly and run out of road before can get there. see max revs in 2nd but prob not enuff load to get full boost with the way it is. whatever is possibly wrong or not wrong. or maybe the boost has been turned down since dyno on one setting of the boost switch

    will check it myself at drags Wednesday if its on

  5. Hey mates I'm just looking at the dyno sheet I got with this beast. I'm wondering about the boost curve. Does it show that it doesn't make full boost until 7500 rpm? I would expect it to make that at worst case 5700rpm then the line to stay flat till max rpm.

    It's a gt35 .82 rear on a rb20. Garrett turbo. China stainless manifold. 38mm wastegate screamer pipe.

    Boost controller is a turbo smart dual stage manual one.

    No idea what spring is in wastegate

    Looking for some ideas on if that's how it shud be or if something's goin on with setup.

    I understand its not the ideal size turbo but that's what's on it. Il live with it
