Yeah i know we have all heard this before but i just want to let people out there know the bad and the good of this story. Yesterday i did something very stupid, a newcomer to the forums had a pfc for sale and needed cash quikly for this item, i jumped on it and had a conversation with the guy and all seemed fine, i outlined my concerns about him being a noobie and told him i wanted some reassurance he was not dodgy, he provided his address details and a land line to contact him on, (he was cool calm and collected) he mentioned another forum user had been hassling him for it but did not like his pushy attitide and therfore was not going to sell to him, i accepted this (stupid me) and he went on to agree that if i paid a deposit the rest could be done via cod, i was still a bit hesitant but even though am relitvly a noobie my self i have bought quite a bit of stuff since i have been using this forum and have successfull buys/trades with 6 (soon to be 9 once my gear arrives) people. I guess with my good experiences compiled with wanting the pfc really badly i made a bad decision and transfered $200 via internet transfer. I flicked back to my pm's and noticed the title in large letters "DO NOT PAY THIS GUY A CENT' it was too late, i then flicked back to where the post was and the admin BLITZ had also arranged to buy this item. I replied to this post calmy and said i would sort it out (i had the seller on the phone at that piont and assured me all was good) i put the phone down and re read the pm, needless to say it was bad, then i knew i had been ripped, 5 mins later tried ringing--- and up till right now no answer. I raced down the bank this morning and put a stop payment on the transfer, it cost me $55 but thats better than a $200 lesson on how not to be a dickhead!! the guys name and details are; James Pratlo 1132 toorak rd, Toorak 3142 Westpac bank bsb 733120 and account 599028 his mobile is 0437073329 just in case someone else comeas accross him I would like to pay a big thanx to blitz for trying to warn me, but there is another side to this story?!?!?! I would also like to pay a very big and special thanks to two very decent and honest people, firstly to monster930 (u know who u are and for what for) and to cerci, youre a champ too!!! these two were very honest when dealing with me and put up with my constant pm's asking where is it how long etc!! (lol) there is however another person i am holding back saying their name at this point, you know who u are and if you dont reemburse me now ( you have had plenty of time and its not as if you dont have the $$$, u sold ure car) i WILL name you and the shitty thing you did/ and doing now, so thats my whinge/moan but most of all my lesson and thanx to all those good ones out there, cheers Damo

Hi, i also have a question relating to coilovers,i have a R33 gtst 93, i have noticed the front suspensinon is sagging and places i used to get in and out of easy, i am now scuffing the bottom of my front bar, so i have deciede i need to rectify this and have found a set of pro circuit hks height and dampering and rebound adjustable coilovers, the only prob is that 10kg and 8kg, too dam stiff? it is a daily driver but my mods are well under way so i can enjoy it more and go to the occasional track day, the history of these coilovers are they were bought from yahoo auctions in Japan for a customer who made a deposit and never returned for the, they appear in very good cond with minnimal usage, and the price i am able to obtain them for is v good, will i feel every single bump on the road, will it be uncomftable for passengers me in the long run? will i get sick of it and go back to standards? is it a case of sacrificing comfort for drivability? the other reason i am asking this is i am just about to fork out the $$ for them and i have also purchused a new a/m front bar and dont want it scraped to buggery, any info you could give me asap would be really appreciated, thanx in advance Damo

howdy, thought this was as good a place as any to post this. In the scramble for a power fc, i have inetvetly ended up with two pfc's with h/c one brand new in the box frm japan, and one second hand i agreed to buy a little while ago, they are both for ECR33 Gtst so if anyone wants to show eoi nows the time as i have no need for two but do have an interested party. I'm leaning towards selling the second hand pfc, pm me if you want

Hi all decieded to sell my dirt bike as i am very busy with work and have no time to ride. I also have embarked on some mods for my car and want funds for them. I origionally bought two of these bikes a short while ago, sold one to a mate and kept the other one, it has had less than 1 hour run in time on a flat grass paddok, I paid $1500 + shipping frm syd to tas. The bike is in excellent cond and i can personally vouch for its performance (i rode the second identical bike heaps before i sold it) it has 200cc ducar engine and kick and electric start, it is alloy with twin spar frame(Tough!) it is a full sized bike not a mini or mid size-- all the specs are listed with the pic. I am asking $1400 but will be only slightly neg on price, this is a top bike and new owner will not be dissapointed with power/performace/quality. Reluctant sale, but hey , i wont my new mods!I also have a 125cc brand new, agb21 07' but not quite as good as as the 200cc and is a mid/mini sized bike (second attach), also mini 50cc brand new 07',(will post pic if interested) any questions just ask, cheers Damo . remember the 200cc is NOT the visible picture, you must download it! bike_4_sale.doc (this is the 125cc not the 200cc, u will need to download attach for 200cc)
