Hi Gerald, I think you may have misconstrued what Dave is trying to say. He, in no way was saying the car sux, only that if it was a 93 silvia it should have a sr20 engine. From my understanding post 91/92 silvias have sr20's and all others have ca18's, which appears to be the engine in this silvia. So Gerald you are right to say that there are other silvia's that have this engine. IMO it is well priced. Cheers.

One of the reason why there isn't imporation tax in NZ is because they don't have a local market (Holdens & Fords) to protect. Correct me if I'm wrong. When I was in NZ a few years back s6 rx7's were goin for less than 20k. damn!!!

Exactly what I thought INASNT, $40 - GET F&CKED! Well I went anyway to see what the fuss was all about. Not worth $40 at all. Don't see how they can justify charging ppl that much. There was a show n shine with around 9 cars. The burnout comp was crap. all u can see was smoke. The drags were ok. Here are a coupla photos. That rust bucket nearly had the yellow tt supra. The cortina beat the gtr by 1-2 car lengths.

How did u get the car on the road so soon?? I'd say the extra $10grand is for compliancing/on road costs and more importantly the risk of buying the car without first sighting and test driving.

Great day. First skyline cruise and definately not the last. Had the opportunity to meet some of you skyline enthusiasts and I have to say all were friendly. Hi all, Need to borrow a side indicator used for r32 and s13 compliancing. These things come straight off. Mine just fell off whilst driving. I need to borrow one for a few days to get a roadworthy (car is currently defected) A pic of the indicator is attached. Cheers

INASNT & R31NISMOID: I got a canary, and to have it cleared it says I need a RWC. So guys reckon that vicroads won't even ask for a RWC??

did me on tyres. I was driving to work in the morning on the eastern n one off the highway patrols pulled me over. I guess they couldn't bust anyone driving on Transit lane. and getting a RWC is a pain. my windscreen cracked last week just after I changed the tyres. so got that replaced. tried to get it RW'ed today and I realise I need to get a side indicator cover as mine fell off. No. didn't get it coming back from rye mate. I was smashed.
