  6. SOLD SOLD SOLD Don't know why I can't edit the first post.
  7. I obviously can't say there's nothing wrong with it at all But put it this way, I'm very happy with the car as it is (I've spent a fair bit fixing things that bothered me). Here's a few things that aren't quite right: 1. One of the custom brackets holding the air filter has snapped. I'll get this fixed on the weekend (this is a support bracket only - air filter is still on car). 2. The paint is really good as you can see from the pictures but there is the odd small scratch on the car if you look closely. 3. Electrics - everything works except the RHS drivers mirror doesn't fold in when you hit the button. I never bothered fixing it as I never use this - all other mirror functions work. Easy fix for <$100 I would say. 18psi on a conservative tune - not sure if you'd want to run higher than that, but I would say with a bit more fine tuning, some aftermarket coil packs and maybe decat or hi flow cat and you'd get pretty close.

  9. Thanks for the replies. I'll get an alignment and see how it goes
  10. What should have been a 20 min job turned into a 3 hour epic tonight - I can't get the wheel to sit straight. It's a Nardi Classic wheel and HKB boss kit. I've changed wheels over before on previous cars but never had this issue. I aligned the TOP marking on the boss to the score mark on the top of the steering shaft. You can't really tell when stationary but when the car is rolling on a straight level road wheel naturally sits very slightly off center, say ~10 degrees. If I force the wheel to point straight the car will slowly veer to the left. Tried ignoring the top marking and adjusting to suit but the angle from center was even worse. Could this be an alignment issue or have I missed something out?

  12. Do you have the DIN pocket that sits under the stereo usually? With or without lid? Aaron.
  13. Ahh thought so - all sorted now. That makes sense now, I need a normally closed contact, I'll test the switch tonight to see which it is and whether I need the relay. Thanks for the help
  14. Ouch...how long did you have it before it went? Maybe not such a good idea then... Did a search and some guy had one for sale a while back and wired it like this, looks like you got this one Hope you don't mind me pulling this pic up: Thought i had this sussed but what is that rectangular object all taped up in the pic with the terminals coming out?
  15. Excellent, just what I wanted to hear - thanks for that. Did you cut the existing wires off and rewire? How's the Gizzmo? Find it useful? Is the flat shift more a lil more beneficial than the launch control in a RWD?
  16. Anyone? I've managed to get a copy of the engine chapter of the workshop manual - doubt it's gonna be in there but will have a look tonight. Otherwise I'll have to trace the circuit back...
  17. OK got a bit more information: The clutch switch has its own error code in the HICAS diagnostics. Is it just used for HICAS? I have a HICAS lock bar on the car so might not need this and can rewire?
  18. I was going to wire a clutch switch to my ECU for launch control/flat shift. Found there was already one there in the clutch bracket. Any one know what this is used for? I could put another switch there but that would involve making up some brackets etc. If I can use this existing one I'd be stoked. If it's not used for anything I could wire straight off it, or if it is used - I could wire up a relay to repeat the status of the clutch to the two circuits. If anyone has a circuit diagram that would even be better. Thanks, Aaron.
  19. I've installed a few of these before, but I used the install guide. Have you tried downloading the SAFC install and instruction manuals (they are two seperate PDFs, both available for download on the net)? I would do this before anything else. They have ECU pin outs for most models of car, your one isn't there? But yes the connections look correct, check with a multimeter to confirm before wiring it up. With pins 26 and 27, put your black multimeter lead to a signal ground and tap either 26 or 27 with the red lead with the car running to see if the voltage across the pins respond correctly to amount of air flow, usually between 0-5V, same with throttle position etc. Dunno if that helps. Aaron.
  20. PM or text/call 0416495282. Thanks, Aaron.
  21. Sad part was it could have been prevented. Don't drink and drive. Wear a seatbelt. Pretty simple really.
