Good to see it up and running! the 780ti is 'only' $320 more not $400 but yeah high end cards always have and always will pull a bit of a premium in the old price vs performance battle it just depends on how far you want to go down that path. The 280x is great bang for buck or GTX760 but yeah wouldn't quite give you the performance on our high res monitors that you'd want You gotta look at the graphics score in 3dmark, obviously being the same CPU going to be the same physics score (CPU based, 3dmark overall score does rely a fair bit on the CPU & clock) 11500 on graphics score definitely a great result for a standard out of the box card - run it for a few weeks to make sure it's not defective and chuck a couple more clocks in it hehe. Very compact, beasty LAN / gaming rig and nice peripherals - now get dat dere cat5 cable ran, enough of the wireless! Edit: Keyboard looks good without the wrist riser thing.. might take mine off and sus it out. And I'm mad jelly of dat dere samsung evo. Download the logitech software and get the back light to match your mouse

Saw one of those a45 amgs next to me driving home from work the other day, very nice. Wanted to give him a run but peak hour traffic sadly
-
now you just need to upgrade those 680s to 780s
-
nice score mate! those asus cards are very nice heard many good things - what was your cpu at in that run? and what cooler you usinig? h110 or something it looks like? post up a link to the 3dmark result so we can browse through the info keen to see what I could get my 780ti in graphics score but don't want to go too hard I'm just running a modest overclock right now

work christmas party last night, didn't do anything completely stupid! f**kyea.jpg
-
No worries brah! half of it was already build don't forget! Yeah run 3dmark 11 it's what most people use, my guess is around 11,000 ish given your GPU not quite as good as what I had in it CPU / physics will be practically the same just the graphics score will change a bit. dat gigabyte windforce, good looking card - still love my reference card 'geforce gtx' glow though

Dunno prob stick with vertex 3 for a bit longer as it's still awesome When we building your comp?
-
MSY and warranty are bad, hate dealing with them have done it once for a motherboard. I only ever go there if PCCG/scorptec don't have what I want in stock like for my new build was the ram only hehe.. Contemplating getting rid of my vertex 3 ssd and getting 2 samsung evo pros & running them in raid 0 - thoughts? worth it? would hammer! but in terms of real world performance probably better off keeping my money lol

I've had my corsair HX850 for years cost me near $300 back then but a sick PSU. BrynDETT - Birds bought some components off me, CPU is a i5 3570 I got some good results with 3mark 11 & my 780ti - his rig gonna be a beast as well. Heres a 3dmark 11 result with my old M-itx rig that is now Birds - http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/7498787 For argument sake here's my new rig with my graphics card overclocked a bit more and CPU at 4.4ghz in this one: http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/7558925

BF2 for it's time was da bomb. i bougght bf3 but only clcoked 3 hours on it, no idea why I bought it lol but so far clocked like 50 hours + on bf4 and loving it.

nah man the 900d is way too massive, like its HUGE. the 750d is the one to go trust me it's a mint case so much 140mm fan support! check out some video reviews it's my first corsair case, definitely has that 'classy' look about it I likey.
-
If that was directed at me you can fit a 360 rad up top or 280, 280 rad up front and 240 rad down bottom if you remove the hdd cages, plenty of space for water cooling infact it's designed for it! And I'm running the H90 (single 140mm radiator)

Yeah I'll be shooting and doing a car thing in vegas, I was looking more at the muscle car ones that you can drive on the road through the canyon - GT500 (700hp), camaro ZL1 and all those type of cars would be sick I reckon and more time behind the wheel. The super snake would be baws if they have one, but doubt it (850hp) lol My friend did the ferarri and said it wasn't that good, they keep telling you off if you go hard or want to kick it out a bit lol At least with the muscle car ones you can drive by yourself just have walkies I think and a lead car / pack, drop back kick it back a gear and fire up that 700hp
-
Cool, yeah you definitely would save a lot of cash compared to new and parts are only a few months old if you lookup each part you'd be looking at over 1k this is still a z77 chipset! CPU alone is worth ~300 new Let me know what he thinks as I have it listed on another website with a bid to be closed on Tuesday night so won't be around for long!

Martin did you shoot a 50cal in america? I do want to do some shooting there, never done it before 50cal might be overkill for me hehe

Hi guys, I've recently upgraded my system, all parts I'm selling were purchased from PCCG earlier on in the year - apart from the hard drives which are about 2 years old. I prefer to sell this as a complete package for someone to pick it all up at once. Case: Coolermaster Elite 120 M-ITX case Motherboard: Asus P8H77-I CPU: Intel core i5 3570 socket 1155 RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL 8GB (2x4GB) PC3-12800 (1600MHz) GPU: Asus 5450 (silent / no fan) HDD: 3x 1TB Seagate barracudas DVD: LG DVD-RW PSU: SHAW evo-685w OS: Fresh windows 8 just been installed Was looking at selling around the $500 mark This is a awesome LAN / HTPC / gaming rig all you'd need to run BF4 would be a new graphics card (say a 660GTX or similar) and would smash it! worth noting one of the only M-ITX cases that can fit a full size GPU and power supply (I had a corsair HX850 in it as well which is 180mm long) As you can see in the picture all original boxes/manuals/screws/mounts etc are included if you want them. Thanks, Leigh
