It's an RB motor it will last standard for years and years. I bought mine with 240,000kms ran like a dream for years - then at 300,000 I reconditioned it for more power............. Most of the ones for sale have their k's turned back anyway - honestly how many 15 year old cars have done less than that?

Pulsar totally died on me yesterday and couldn't restart it even once it cooled down so I got a tow to Nissan. They said it could be either the cam sensor or the angle crank sensor, but couldn't plug in to see the diagnostics because of the Haltec. They disconnected the 5th injector (which is run by the Haltec), changed my spark plugs and cleaned all the un-used fuel from my attemped starts. That got me home, but we still don't really know if that's the issue Could you guys please recommend a good Haltec expert to go see?

The water temp stays midway, maybe I should get a water temp gauge just in case...... What's a Nissan consult? lol This is the Pulsar, everythings pretty much stock but the turbo upgrade bits..... But yeah, the car died - when I tried to restart it would rev to 1k then just die out, even if I tried to accelerate. I let it sit for 5 mins then she was fine again till I got home. Hya, Need some advice plz..... I was driving on the freeway (stop start traffic) and my car died. Once it cooled down a little it was okay and I managed to get going again. It's happened a couple of times now when it's a warm day and the car heats up, any ideas what this could be?? Is it a sensor that's cutting out once the car gets too hot? Bloody bastard!!
