  1. R33 the best? Nah . The R34 gtr in my opinion is the most shit hot sexiest beast on the road, it is the king by far all other skylines bow befor it . At last years Autosalon there was a grey r34 gtr close to the entrance of the show it has an awsome kit on it carbon bonnet lowered , the whole bit , some custom work on the interior but not overly done, it was just sheer perfection, it was by far the most mean looking shit hot car at the show. Just the thought of owning a beast like that gives me goose bumps. But i drive an r33 gtst and i really love my car . It is really challenging to find the right look for the r33 it has nice lines and unlike the r32 and 34 the r33's looks vary right across the scale from completely dumb ass ugly whale to the sleek low street weapon. I guess thats the charm of the r33, not to mention it probably one of the best bang for buck cars out there. But really if i had the cash, oooohh if i had the cash oh gee here come the goosbumps.
  2. I live in the Sydney western subs area and i have an Apexi PFC ready to go in. c'mon guys! Is anyone able to recommend someone!! cheers muzz
  3. I'm going to get some work done to my car and was gonna get it tuned as well. I have a few parts that need to go on and i really want to take my car to a place with a good reputation, also it would help if they do alot of work to skylines as i'd rather take it to a place where the people there know my car inside out. However i am also on a bit of a budget and need a place that chargers reasonable rates. Its probably been discussed before but i'd thought i'd ask again So, Lads Where would you recomend i take my car ? and why? cheers Muzz
  4. I'll put $100 on the rear-end bet hehe
  5. Well i guess that Lazy Bastard has pointed out the obvious flaw with oil coolers, This is the very reason why i have not decided if i should buy one yet. Unfortunately unless you have your oil cooler and everything positioned so that most of the oil drains out using good ol gravity , you will always have at least 1 litre of dirty oil on the sump, yes thats right DIRTY DIRTY OIL hehe just the thought of it... eh yuck Even if there is nothing wrong with that. Oil coolers do a great job But I would opt for a high capacity performance sump with oil cooling fins anyday. Unfortunately cant find anything like that for RB25.
  6. Hey everyone , I have been looking around on ebay and finding all these Cheap Turbo and manifold upgrade kits for RB25 ," all you ever need for only $899 will make 250kwatw blah blah blah " The photos look nice and the amount of crap they write up un the product sure is impressive. But are they any good???? If you have bought one of these set-ups and tried it , please reply It would be good to hear what type of results you got and do they last??
  7. I had similar mods to you when I put a new ECU in and turned the boost up and I made just over 200rwkw. I got APFC ecu its ready to go in, then i gotta get it tuned , just wondering what would a safe psi level be for the standard turbo? most people say around 14 psi you can run the standard turbo and it should last, dont know how accurate that is others say not more than 12 if you want it to last.
  8. Well i'm sure glad some people responded to this topic thank you to all, I will sure have to do some more research before fitting one on my S1 r33, but it still interests me very much, they sure do look awsome in the engine bay, Other than a bigger turbo set up for my RB25 Does anyone have any good suggestions for Useful performance upgrades on a basically stock engine at around $1500 ?? I have FMIC barnplate, turbo back exhaust, Fuel pump, air filter boost controller better braking system in the works- coming soon cheers. muzz
  9. Any pictures of the plenum and piping, also the wheels i may be interested , need to see some pics cheers muzz
  10. Hi , Just wondering if anyone out there has got a Greddy plenum intake manifold with a larger throtle on their RB25? Apart from the bling factor in your engine bay, has anyone noticed a performance gain of any kind? Bolted to a standard engine with standard ecu and turbo? I'm guessing that the fact that you will lose almost 1 metre of intercooler piping that runs across the engine will allow a drop in the air temp that enters the plenum, wont that in itself increase performance? Just wondering if anyone out there has done it ? what kind of results did you get? and if the upgrade is worth while performance wise?. cheers Muzz
  11. I guess the title says it all. I need a power fc for my r33 skyline S1, cant buy them anymore, If anyone can help me out in any way please pm me. thanx. Muzz
  12. Awsome , and i guess the Apexi pfc that comes with it is the right one for my car? send some pics please. cheers
