which is why i wanted to go with coilovers i know how to make big wheels fit small spaces plans are to put 18s, slam it and drift it, like i did with my 180. Ponly problem is flaring the rear fenders to fit the single digit or negative offsets i want to. But unless i have a manual stagea from the factory (wihch obviously i dont) I need GTR front GTST rear. rodge

it depends. i normally run 18-20 PSI at the strip some people like to go lower. if you have decent tires try it at 15 adn then 18 see if it makes a difference.

oh and i dont think that spring shock combo will go quite as low as i need to be. I had to modify my coilover lower brackets to go as low as i needed. Hopefully to have the stagea on stock body about 3-4 inches fromt eh ground.

do you happen to know what the spring rates are? Im shooting for a 14/12k setup

so what coilover setup would be suitable? the whole shock spring setup most of you run will not be quite enough for my application. IS there a certain reason why GTST rears arent suitable?

well the wife said that i have to get something more family friendly solid engine mounts and 300 HP isnt really family friendly...plus you have to have an interior for that also lol i pan on continuing my drifting with the stagea I have already sourced all the items i need mostly, going with a 14k/12k suspension setup. Nismo 2 way diff and once i get this whole tranny figured out i will be doing that as well i have about 3700 USD to play with for mods. so it sohuld be fun.

I know what the Faq says but my friend says that according a few companies thge GTR suspension all around is what is called for with teh stagea?? it contradicts everything ive read here

around me im looking at 600-800 for a r33 gtr box, and a few hundred less for a r32. Im really worrid about the RWD setup. I was thinking the same with eh R33 GTST driveshaft..it SHOULD be the same length. And now i have to worry about a diff as well this is a headache This Stagea is being built for drift, AWD will never be used anwyays I am in the Kanto plane of japan. By tachikawa

not to sound lazy but wth 17 pages of information there isnt a clear cut decision Will GTR front and rear work or do you need GTR front, GT25T rear or r33 GTS25t all around with custom springs? but the problem is the tranny to use DOes anyone know if i can use a RWD transmission with slight modification (or know someone that has) since we have established i can use a GTS4 or GTR transmission and leave the front driveshaft unhooked. im just looking at all my options, it is easier to source a rwd tranny than an AWD

so it wont damage my transmission at all just not running the front driveshafts? In that case ill just get an R33 GTS4 or GTR mission

Ok, i looked around a little bit, but didnt see anything exactly However, i was wondering, i know it is possible to put an r33 GTR box into the rs4, but is there any way i can simply put an R33 Manual from a RWD, and remove the front halfshafts? Im picking this stagea up to replace a 180sx and would like to continue drifting but with the stagea. ANy ideas? sorry for the double post, didnt realize there was a stagea section!!! thank you though
