Wow, these guys are really surprising me here with their bad customer support.... i sent them $20 to sign up to their egroup almost a month ago and i never got an email from them i then emailed EVERY email adress on their website MULTIPLE times asking wtf is taking so long and NOTHING few days ago i filed a dispute on paypal and STILL nothing.... does anybody know how the hell to reach these guys? maybe a phone number?

So i was installing my RC injectors in my new greddy manifold today and ran into some confusion how far in are the injectors supposed to sit in the manifold? look at the pictures is the rc injector supposed to sit flush with the big oring and stick out inside the manifold like the stock injector? cause the bottom doesnt clear the hole in the manifold, the hole needs to be like half a mm larger for it to go through is it supposed to be this way or do i need to make the hole a little bit bigger? the injectors are VQ35DE injectors which may explain the inconsistency

sounds good! i think i'll leave the pipes in the firewall unplugged for a couple days so the coolant inside can dry up!

im wondering, if i decide to bypass my heater core, i assume i just connect the inlet and outlet in the engine bay right? i dont need the heater since i live in warm weather and i could use the extra room in the engine bay by removing the 2 pipes and it would nice to avoid a potential leak in the future. any way to do this without degassing the A/C system? and what can i use to plug the 2 holes in the firewall?

dude, i got it with my car from japan i dont have the slightest idea which brand it could be.... the coating on it is black if it helps.... other than that there's nothing else on it to give me an indication who has a new metal HG to measure for me

well the OEM one i measured was new the metal one in my car isnt.... so how would you suggest finding out how thick it is?

i got a good comment from an ebay seller though apparently the measurements they use when stating head gasket thickness is the "compressed thickness" so it would be thicker if it's not being used, which would make allot more sense... in that case i'd be guessing that mine would probably compress down to 1.5-1.6mm when installed and the stock one would make sense if it compressed down to 1.2mm since it's much softer

nope i havent because i dont know anyone who has one dont see how the old school one can be innacurate though , harder to read yes, but innacurate i dont think so

So i took my headgasket out and measured it with a caliper and got 1.7mm.... it's a metal gasket... dont know which brand so ok i thought that would be correct but then i measured a stock headgasket and got the same 1.7mm so here's a picture of the measurements.... someone help me figure this out..... i need to order a new gasket asap but need to know what thickness to order since i need to resurface my head I read that the stock tickness is 1.2mm.... but why am i getting 1.7?? Does anyone have a headgasket they can measure up for me in the same way and tell me what they get?

So, seeing as my head is off and i was told my current headgasket is starting to let go in some spots, i'm looking for a replacement what i currently have is an unknown brand metal HG that came on the car, i measured it with a caliper and it seems to be about 1.7mm thick I'm probably going to get the head resurfaced, so what thickness should i go with this time? 2mm? Problem is that i dont know if it was already shaved down in japan when they fit the new HG so it's a bit risky to not go thicker. I did however notice when i did a compression test that i got about 145psi across all cylinders which suggests that the compression was lowered. So anyway, i was thinking about going with Tomei but i hear that there seems to be a shortage of tomei hg's on the market? Im trying to avoid Cometic since i've heard of allot of people having leaks with them

all the lights come on, didnt check the horn etc though BUT i just moved the battery to another car and it started right up i also connected another battery to my car.... same thing, hand controller doesnt boot up... man if this thing got somehow fried i'm going to blow up!!!

i'm not sure, i dont have a multimeter but i had it hooked up to my charger, and i'm currently charging it up. it's a faily new optima redtop so it shouldnt be dead... i'll try it again after a few hours of charging

So right now my car is in pieces, i have my head out of the engine bay and practically every sensor in the engine bay is disconnected Today i was trying to drain my gas tank so i thought i'd let the fuel pump do the work by priming it and let the fuel feed line go into a canister so as i turned my iginition to ON, nothing happened... so i glanced over to my pfc and noticed the hand controller wasnt coming on So what could be the cause of this? does it have a fail safe to not turn on if a specific sensor is disconnected? Could i have blown a fuse or something??? wierd thing is, this whole time, my battery wasnt even connected, so i really doubt it could be fried someone please put my heart to rest!! i havent even gotten the chance to try it out yet!

nah, think i'd rather just spend some cash and get a real one think im gonna go with the japspeed one made in the UK pretty good price and seems to be good quality
