Hey guys, providin im able to sell my current exhaust which can be located here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t1...ml&hl=trust I was looking to get eitha Kakimoto N1 or Fujitsubo Power Getter so decided to look them up. Opinions wuldb greatly appreciated as wuld some translation as to wat these pics mean. Clearly they talk of the dB ratings of the exhaust, but does 1 signify cruising sound vs open throttle? Thanx in advance.

I didn snap any of the finished product but this pic shows the exact system, bar the mid muffler removal of course. It was replaced with 3" piping which has been TIG welded by one of the best (if not the best) exhaust places in SA.

Hi guys, already had a Trust PE2 cat-back system fitted to my R33 few months back & it sounded tuff coming in @bout 88dB once carbon had built up so not too loud nor quiet. Recently had the front section installed alla JJR front/dump teamed up with X-Force high flow cat...its gone quieter Is this due to all of the new piping & it not having carbon etc build up as its only 2 days old? Or am i going to do the unthinkable & reverse all the hard R&D from Trust by removing that mid muffler? Thanx in advance.

Total damage was going to be $1350 from the turbo back, besides the piping this included magnaflow highest flowing cat & magnaflow muffler. Now i've just decided to get the PE2 installed which is $899...just in the nick of time cos the YEN has dropped & the new price is $980 installed

Just checked with various suppliers & they all said the same, it is 4" barrel so it tucks under nicely & has a sweet note. So if i go with a 5" i think id be pretty safe with clearances, sound/note & performance.

Think i'll go with a fiver, still fairly big & also for ground clearances etc may be easier!

Hey guys just a quickie, Im getting a custom turbo back exhaust put on tues @AAA on recommendation from countless of you out there. Just wondering what size canon 2go? I want a similar one to that of Trust PE2, so question is does it have a 5" or 6" barrel? They recommend 6". Thanks in advance!

Change of mind guys, no Sinergy are still great dun worry bout that but from now on Emtech Automotive get my vote. They are around the same mark even a lil cheaper with servicing & instead of the valvoline oil I got in my car <sigh> they use the sweet stuff...MOTUL bebe! Hey guys just wanted to post a lil info RE:Waterless Washing, thought itd be relevant as obviously we are all getting our chops broken about washing with hoses etc & its effects on the environment. Firstly I have seen 1st hand that if using the correct product ie not skimping on costs you will not ruin your paint job vs doing it the ol' fashion way. I have seen a new product Eco-Shine & also that No-Wet (shown on today tonight) in use on my friends black IS-250. It was dusty as hell & being a top of the range $90k car i kno he wuld only use the best. Results were fantastic & it was due to the fact that unlike the cheaper stuff, the products contained high grade Carnauba Wax & a fine clay. Therefore it truly does the paint preparation, wash, wax & polish all in one with only the best results. Sorry dont have pics as yet, but i will post some for your viewing pleasure *peace out*

Hi guys, did a small search of the forums on where to get my pride & joy serviced. Common place was Boostworx but working @prospect i was after a more convenient place which could be walking distance if possible. Sinergy Motorsport, enuf said? Well let me say i decided to give them a try & am more then pleased with service, good natured guys & above all import enthusiasts. Service took just under 2 hours and whilst i entertained myself by watchin sum crazy drift DVD in the waiting room, the guys went hard @it & my bill came to $150...cheap as chips plus shes runnin betta then before!!!! To Rob and the guys i give 'em 10/10, i will be taking my car there in the future not only for servicing but performance mods as well as referring other people. Cheers guys, you rock tha blocks

Hey guys, currently only have a stockie '96 R33 S2 M-Spec but having gone from a 98 Honda Accord immediately felt the power difference in every aspect. Now after only a month im used to it and it just feels like any old car...time for upgrades i think first was thinking of turbo back exhaust, if done right apparently you can pick up anywhere in between 20-30rkws! This would make a significant improvement and secondly FMIC. What are your opinions? Thanks in advance!

Hi all, was just wondering whether or not to get a custom exhaust done for my 33 or go with the trust pe2. Sound samples and a rough db reading would help sway me, i don't want anything too discreet but 100db is way too loud. Thanks in advance

Yea these are some fair points, well interior and engine show signs of a car around the 50,000km mark defintely. I think no matter how much of a pro detailer you are you couldn't get my car in the condition it is if in fact it had 150,000kms. Only wear is on gear knob, everything else is spotless and I purposely bought the car in stock condition that way chances of being a drift car were reduced.

Not too sure, dealer didn't say it was fresh stock and it got complianced as soon as I bought it.

Hi guys just got my R33 dream car, high grade, factory standard and runs like it has just left the dealership, low kms...or has it? To my disguist I had full inspection done by State Roads in Sydney (where the car is from)and all was well. Car arrives on truck to my house in Adel and when I take it for a cruise all of a sudden I notice trip computer and odometer are not ticking over evidence of roll back or is this a common problem when transporting etc? I'd appreciate all opinions and thoughts guys cos I spent some major cash $21k in fact and if I've been taken for a ride, Consumer Affairs will be notified!

Hi guys just got my '96 R33 today and I wanted to replace the low beams but can't afford a HID kit right now. What type bulbs do I need (I think H1) and also what are a good quality replacement that produce great white light. No MTEC my mate has them and I'm not a fan, Polarg...Philips...Thanks in advance!
