  4. ok peep i have read and taken in whats said on this sight my issue is i have access to a r34 n1 (vspec) engine and all associated elecs from a front cut i want to put it into my r32 gtr and restore it back to a streetable package i know there are a few wiring cam and cas differences however i was wondering can i use the r34 loom and ecu ect in the 32 without to much trouble? what would be invoved / any wiring mods? ect i will be using the 32 box and clutch

  6. hi peoples, just need to find out if anyone knows if there are any differences between rb crank bolts problem being is i have misplaced the one off the front of my hks step 2 crank and i attempted to use a series 2 rb30 crank bolt but its to small in diameter to thread in can anyone shed some light? cheers ben
  7. i have a peterson 4 stage on the side of my rb28, it came as a kit from performance wholesale and bolted strait on where the aircon was via billet ali mount 1 head 2 sump scavengethe kit came with all the spacers required to fit the ati balancer will try post up pics as its still on the stand
  8. does any one have an ecu they are willing to part with, it needs to work and i preffer it not to hve been chipped or molested

  10. hi guys been doing a lil shopping at a swap meet while on hollidays and came across som brembos of a ferarri 355 for less than 600 a pr they look to be in good nick and all the seals are sweet question is are they the same bolt pattern as an r32? my 32 is some 2500ks away so i cant check whats the distance from hole center to hole center? thank you
  11. thanks guys, after much much reading from every source possible i think i will go the pwm route, with a 4wd lock out witch which the vipec should facilitate once again thankyou for your help
  12. well i have tried the ebay unit and it works to the point that i can go 2wd however to re engage 4wd you need to shut down and restart the system, the hks unit works very similar to the ebay unit what i want to do is run 2wd for 95% of the time its only to launch that i want 4wd whole idea is to save the front diff, axles, transfer thats why i was thinking of a manual hydraulic system

Hi guys, well i am at the stage where i would like to modify the tranfer so i can manualy select 2wd / 4wd any one know of a way i have used 3 different torque controlers and they worked well however the 32 is now a basicly friday night cruiser / drag car was thinking of a hand primed system that uses a hand break lever (so looks like a second hand break) a resivour and a solinoid to do the job so it is set up as 2wd primarily comence tyre warm up lock solinoid to retain pressure prime transfer case / clutch packs via lever 4wd engaged make a pass at end of pass release pressure via solinoid back to 2wd is this a viable system? is there one available? anyone shed some light? thanks, Ben

  18. mate do you sill have the whole clutch master assembly? mainly after the pushrod behind the clutch master cyl
  19. got a clutch master pushrod? (the one inside / between the booster and master cyl)
  20. very interested as i have just about to recieve my rb26 back ,yet to be assembled will let you know what remac did in this situation (as i am also running a dry sump / 4 stage pump) they did all the flow calculations too
  21. doing anything to the stock plenum is pointless as the rear two runners (more so the very rear) restricts the output (due to lack of flow, pressure and volume) at higher than normal pressure i had a 18-20% gain with a greddy plenum (less knock too) and still retained the six throttle arangement. about to trial a hypertune with a single throttle on a mates car

  24. yeah looked at stroking it but big $$$ (still want a ppg dog box) have run 2510's (which i am about to sell if any one wants) and 2530's on stock motor but this time i want more hp and torque gonna run a lil higher on the compression side of things otherwise some agressive caming and a 9k redline this is pretty much a track car and the odd charity cruise / weekender so i dont expect to much down low streeter idea has gone since we got a 130kph speed limit up here now, missing the old open limit
