Hey folks Been lookin for one of these for ages, there's one goin on ebay but works out like $400 after they whack on the postage. Doesn't matter if its a little grazed whatever as long as it can be repaired when resprayed.

200 rwkw would be awesome, what I'd like but I'd be very surprised if you could get there with stock turbo. I guess +20rwkw and a little better fuel economy is worth it in the long run.

Hey y'all I've just done my baby mods, zorst, front mount, actuator to 12 psi and am looking at an SAFC2. So if you'd kindly share some knowledge I wanna know what can you get in terms of: 1) Horses 2) Fuel economy 3) Self tune or not? I was just gonna pay a workshop as I have zero gauges and zero xp. At the moment it really seems to be guzzling the gas and I'm not a real lead foot, so I'm hoping its worth it for fuel alone.

Hey guys I'm doing stage 1 mods, got me turbo back exy, front mount, apexi pod and ran outta cash I'm lookin to do the old R32 wastegate actuator trick for a nice reliable 10 psi Only problem is I've never done anything like it, don't wanna stuff it up. So if anyone can throw some pics up with a few pointers as to what goes where I would greatly appreciate it I assume the turbo does not have to come off? Otherwise it would not be worth it as I'd have to pay workshop time. Also are there any problems with dodgy actuators and if so any way to tell a dodgy one before I put it on? If anyone reputable has got said R32 GTST actuator I will pay a good price for it, PM me.

Thanks for the input everyone, very interesting. I'm only in stage 1, so no aftermarket exhaust manifold for me. I've done two turbo back exhaust installs now and for whatever reason it seems ridiculously easy to shear off the turbo to dump pipe bolts as happened again this time. It was only one bolt and my mechanic reckons it should be fine with all the rest bolted up, seems fine so far. Do you guys reckon its worth paying someone to drill it out? Its the one furthest away from the engine, pretty tight but thought someone might be able to get a drill in there...?

Hi guys I'm reinstalling a turbo back exhaust this week and was wondering how difficult it would be to fit an aftermarket exhaust manifold? I have no idea of the time/difficulty and will be paying workshop time while assisting, so any suggestions would be helpful. I suppose I should also ask whether its worth doing in the first place? Hi guys I'm no dummy but I don't have much automotive experience, gotta start somewhere right. Most of what I've read on the forums about catch cans has been convoluted and confusing, and most of the pictures are missing... So with some knowledgable people's input (that means if you don't know don't post) I would like to definitively clear up a) How the recirculation system works, b) which pipes/valves do what on the RB25 (or RB20) c) piping schemes and how they work. After a quick read on wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCV_valve I understand that the crank gas recirculation system consists of 1) Breather tube from intake pipe to crank case and 2) crank case to manifold tubing via PCV valve. So off boost clean air is drawn through the breather tube into the crank casing then out of the crank casing into the intake manifold via the PCV valve. On boost the PVC valve will close, meaning no connection between intake manifold and crank casing. Thus crank case gases should recirculate via the breather tube back into the intake pipe? So there are two paths the crank case gases can take back into the engine, and therefore both these paths should pass through the catch can to void oil? As I say I'd really appreciate if someone knowledgable can clarify this logic is correct, and post a few pictures of the RB25 showing which pipes do what, as I have no idea, and the basic piping scheme for catch can install.
