  1. I think a guy called Stuart from Dentcraft or something similar did mine, went to his place and he rolled them in his garage.

The funny part was when he put he heat gun down and it melted a hole in the air compressor hose :bunny:

But I've had no cracks or anything in the paint and it seems like a flawless job to me.

  2. My missus just paid $250 for an aftermarket WRX turbo intake pipe, because her stock one had rips and holes etc.

I wz lyk siiiigh, y dnt u jst get a gud stock one frm a wrekr 4 lyk $30 an ill install 4 u babe?

Stupid mechanics at her work think they know best... pfft. Then again they are installing it for her no charge. Then again they've had her car for a week now.

What I'm trying to say dude, is that you should get your boyfriend to change your fuel filter for you

  3. It's not illegal to sell dark tint, you just can't drive around on the streets with dark tint. Companies should still advertise/be able to supply you with dark tint for purposes like show cars or whatever..

  4. Top Racing's dyno is the highest reading dyno I've had my car on in Perth. Might be why Canute's power figure seems high.

If you guys want to compare power properly, use the same dyno on the same day or go get some quarter mile time slips.

  5. Wow, this thread is full of fail.

What has ceramic wheels got to do with failing due to flutter?

The ceramic wheel is on the exhaust side..

The returning air does NOT stall the turbo, and it does NOT make it spin the other way.

The only thing it will be doing is putting a bit of extra load on the fins of the compressor wheel as it tries to push air into the returning air.

    I agree with bubba, build a 25/30!

  6. Wow does that mean even if the needle is pointing on E we still have 10 litres or more left?

I've changed fuel pumps before but I don't really remember if the fuel pick-up sock is going to be able to suck up the last few litres of fuel in the tank.

And I'm going to assume that 65L is the total volume of the tank? And you wouldn't actually fit 65L of fuel in it because of an air pocket at the top or something. I dunno.

Doesn't really matter. Just try and fill up when you're in between 1/4 and Empty.

I get just over 400kms from about 50 litres of fuel, but it's not a stock car.

  7. EDITED: Do skylines have the same size of fuel tank? From what I've been told skylines have 65 litres of tank isnt it? My friend's only fill up somewhere around 45 litres full tank.

Yeah 65 litre tank for a GTS-T, it's normal to only fill up 45-50 litres when the needle says you're on empty.
