Hey guys, Thinking about upgrading so putting my R33 on the market to see if I can get what I want for it. 1997 Nissan Skyline R33 Series 2 RB25DET White 124,000 kms 5 Speed Manual 2 Months rego Comes with: Air conditioning - Ice cold - Working perfect Apexi Turbo Timer 3" Kakimoto catback exhaust King springs Pager Alarm 18" rims with pretty new tyres (265 rears and 245 fronts) Boost gauge mounted low on A pillar Dark tints HID's Pioneer mp3/cd player Alpine 6" front speakers, 2 Pioneer 10 inch subs running off a Kenwood amp, nice clear & punchy sound. Heavy duty clutch 3a Pod filter less than 5,000ks old. Pager alarm with 2 fobs Car came with a turbosmart boost tee, car is running stock boost...fuel economy! Bought off a meticulous owner, car serviced every 5,000kms, no leaks . Original paint job, very good, clean, reliable car for its age. THE BAD: Just one issue, the car came with a small sticker on the roof, when i carefully peeled this off the paint came off with it. A very good touch up job has been done for now, quotes have been $300-$400 for a respray of the whole roof, havent had time to leave the car at a workshop due to work. Would rather a quick sale. Priced accordingly. Never really phased me and isnt that noticeable so I'm just looking for a quick sale now. I think the previous owner of the vehicle is on these forums and can confirm. Hey guys, looking for a FMIC kit for a r33 gtst. have looked at the justjap Cooling pro and CRD ones, just seeing if anyone else here has something before I decide what to do. Stock turbo application so really looking at budget entry level FMICs. Looking for the whole kit, not just the core. Open to recommendations on brand new ones and used ones. GTST thats hilarious!!! nah mate, I've seen 200's and skylines also do it, its just obnoxiously more prevalent on a VL imo. Pretty much any turbo car can do it from my understanding.

Hey mate, no difference in performance apart from noise, fuel consumption would be virtually the same if not ever so slightly worse. you wont make 5 kw extra. some have reported loss in performance due to the pod soaking in the hot air from the engine.. if you're going to pod it up, you're best of shielding it from all the heatsoak, and running some cold air piping, otherwise its kind of pointless and you're going backwards. Also being in NSW an open pod is a defect. cheers,

Thanks mate. So just to clarify, bolt 2 unscrews and screws freely by hand regardless if bolt 1 is tight or loose? is that correct? Thanks for your help.

Yeah I'm fairly certain it is.. without sounding too noob..which I am to turbo cars.. whats the point of unlocking the first one if the second one can just be tightened or loosened by hand regardless? is the tightness of the first one the one i should be adjusting? cheers

Hi guys, My R33 Gts-t is squealing bigtime on cold starts. I searched the forum and found a thread on how to check the tension of the alternator belt. This diagram was posted. Basically, when bolt 1 is completely tightened on, bolt 2 is still adjustable by hand? its not locking into place. anyone have any ideas as to what to do from here? cheers.

Hey guys, installing a pod today and the plastic on my AFM was really brittle and is about to snap. anyone have the plastic piece where the AFM plugs into and the pod filter bolts onto for sale? Sydney preferable. pm me or call me on 0405140435 cheers,

no offence mate but you wont find a 4 door r33 non turbo auto for 5k.. you wont find a r32 for 5k even. maybe look for an sr20de pulsar or sx corolla? good lil cars to muck around with
