in the first part of your sentence you say you put your foot down: then in the same sentence carry on to say that you didnt have it down much: conflict in your own statement. i think you knew exacly what you were doing. Your just pissed off that you got caught doing stupid shit right in front of the cops. stop showing off and you wont have any dramas, show off and suffer the cosequences, take it like a man and dont whinge about it. and as for this, what a load of bullshit. it doesnt take long to learn how to take off in 1st without wheelspin. think about it. and if the below statement is true, you really should have known better but thats just my opionion

did you fasten the coil pack amplifier earth to the last bolt that holds down the coil packs at the back of the motor????
