  1. All, I have got Bilstein shock absorbers with Pedders springs in my R33 GTST, The car is fairly low which i know it will ride firm but its too bloody firm.. It shakes like crazy over bumps and it also feels dangerous when accelarting over bumps because the back of the car slips around. Would it be the springs or the shock absorbers? Does anyone know any combination that works well? Should I go for King springs? Thanks
  2. Yeah i really like her aswell. Sweet ride.. Also got the power to go with the looks 250kw at the treads..... very tastey
  3. I CBF doing much plus my photoshop talents leave little to be desired, Help me out with some crazy design. Just modify it to how you like! Thanks
  4. How do u make video gifs?
  5. Just saw this riced up skyline on car sales but i liked the rear wing.. What style is it? who makes it? where do I get one and how much?
  6. I currently have 250rwkw with a HKS mushroom pod filter. It has been recomended to me by a reputable tuner in Victoria to change it back to standard airbox with a K&N hiflow pannel because it flows better. Plus the wooossshhh noise from the BOV is giving me the shits a bit... What is a CAI setup? or a CDI setup?
  7. What flows air better - obviously for performance reasons, either a POD filter or a stock standard airbox with a hi flow pannel filter (eg. K&N)? I drive a fairly modded R33 GTST. Any for's or againsts would be of interest aswell cheers
  8. PRESA have sent you a PM... forgot to ask for your phone number aswell, please add that... My name is Heath by the way
  9. I want to purchase a Stock R33 GTST airbox but only with all the fittings... (eg screws) Do i need an airflow meter? if so i want one of those aswell thanks Melbourne people preferably
  10. dont have a picture of it unfortunatly... i should have taken one but i didnt. Its a very tight spot to get into the L shaped fitting makes it hard plus the wastegate actuator rod and braided hose....difficult
  11. All What actualy seals the top oil feed line into the turbo on a HKS GT25/25 turbo?? is it a copper washer? And also what seals the bottom oil drain line from the bottom of the turbo? I think its a copper gasket! thanks
  12. theres no shield on the top of the turbo... I cant really get to the top line because it has an L shaped connection from the braided hose to the turbo which doesnt actualy allow me to get a spanner in there difficult... What actualy seals the oil feed line? Gasket? O ring? I am led to believe the oil drain line is a copper gasket! I ordered a oil return line gasket from nissan yesterday but i dont know if it will fit because i have a HKS turbo
  13. Well monday night was one of the most exciting days of my life.. I have wanted a skyline since I was 16 or 17 but could never justify spending so much on insurance costs. Now im 20 and i can afford it all I have purchase my 1st Skyline, and not just any Skyline. Its an R33 GTST with quite a few mods on it. Im sure most of you have seen the car before, Its Denton old car, number plates MSPEC2. I have done about 200klms in the car in a matter of 4 days which is actualy less than what I expected I would have done. On Wednesday night I noticed that there was a bit of oil on the power steering rack and on the side of the block. I gave it a pressure clean and it came up a million bucks. Yesterday I got to work and had a talk to one of the mechanics who is a Skyline driver and I got him to have a look at it. We put it up on the hoist at lunch time and I was suprised at how much oil is leaking out of the turbo. The car is fitted with a HKS GT25/35 turbo. I believe it is coming from the oil return line where the flange bolts up to the turbo itself. And also the oil feed line at the top of the turbo is weeping aswell. I rang Ben from Race Pace and im going to get him to have a look at it but its going to be next thursday before he can look at it. Untill then its back to the V6 Camry. I have attached a photo (taken off a Nokia camera phone) of what it looks like from underneth the car. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Is it a big deal? any advice? Thanks guys
  14. Hey guys... I need to get a oil return line gasket from the bottom of the turbo back into the sump... Where would I get one of these? Local nissan dealer wont help me... Also its a HKS GT25/35 turbo so would it be a Nissan item im looking for?? if so does anyone know any local delivered cars that have the same
  15. Hey guys.. I get read outs on my power fc of around 10 if i drive it normal but when i give it the full berries and rev it out i get up to 18-25 knock reading... is that bad?
  16. Thanks guys... There is about 4 or so pipes hanging off my turbo... All i know is the oil feed line (pressure) and oil return line. Whats the other ones that bolt onto the side of the turbo??
  17. Hey guys... I got an R33 GTST fitted with a GT2535 turbo and it seems to be leaking oil from the oil line on the top of the turbo and there is a bit of oil on the cross member and power steering rack. Anybody got any suggestions?? what can I do guys??

I have actualy purchase DentonR33's GTST.. I havent actualy picked it up yet. Hopefully this week or early next week. I wont be doing much track work because the car will be a daily driver and I dont want to write it off and also im planning on a big return back into the Formula 3 series again next year all going well. I will be most defently up for winton/phillip island track days but not sandown. I think Sandown and Calder park are the worst tracks I have driven on. But I will be heading out on some SAU cruises and really really looking forward to meeting everyone and going for a spin!

I bought rears only though dude. Fronts obivously would be more expensive... But yeah its pretty cheap... Autopro and a few other quoted me prices between $240-$280 for the same thing... One Nissan dealer quoted me $540 for each rotor for genuine imported ones. Fark that

They are DBA Slotted. yeah i thought $193 each for rear rotors wasnt too bad. He seems to be very cheap compared to alot of other companies who I called. If you need any brake parts I highly recommend them. Race Brakes in North Melbourne. 24. As far as I understand the Vicroads rule, It is the "manufactures specified power" diveded by "manufactures specified weight" now i know i a skyline R33 puts out 187kw standard vs 1341kg kurb weight. This makes it illegal to drive on your P plates, but then on the other hand on the vicroads website there is a .pdf formatt document which describes all the cars a P Plater cant drive and the only skyline on there is a GTR R32. Obvisously this is because there were a handful bought into Australia and the R33 GTST isnt on there because its a Grey Import.... But you could bend the rules a little by that anyway... I wouldnt be overly concerned at this stage dude. If your being a dickhead in your skyline your asking for trouble. Play by their rules and you might just find you will be fine!
