Hey guys I have a question for a few of you. I am selling a full set of 17inch racing wheels with semi slicks that have been fitted to an AU Falcon 250 pursuit ute. Im 99% sure that they will fit a Skyline, Supra etc.... Im sure some of you guys who are getting into the track work will be interested. link to page is as follows http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ed=1#post992457

Thats the only photo i have of them... however i do endeavour to get more soon... very soon. The tyres are Falken Azenis and the are actualy 23545R17... sorry about the 245 size I quoted in the first post. The brand of wheel are Smiths alloy racing wheels and as you can see they offer alot of air venting to keep the brakes cool therefore reducing brake fade during your track sessions.... Any offers (so long as they are resonable) are accepted. Cheers

Hey all. Im still looking around at GTR's aswell... Theres a few that I am ready to go and have a look at that I have seen in the trading post and I was wondering if anyone had been to have a look at them and could give me a little bit of an insight or a "heads up" to any of the cars... They are 1. 1996 R33 GTR V Spec in Springvale - $37,500 2. 1996 R33 GTR in Clarinda - $34,900 <-- has been advertised for awhile 3. 1995 R33 GTR with Chameleon paint in Narre Warren - $34,990 4. 1995 R33 GTR in Safety Beach - $39,990 for memory 5. 1995 R33 GTR at Carizma in Abbotsford - $39,900 Any information regarding these cars would be greatly appreciated.... Cheers

I dont think its a stupid idea aslong as you can justify the insurance costs, apart from that you shouldnt have a drama. I dont know how many "genuine" klms a 93-94mdl should have, aslong as the car looks clean and tidy in general you should have a winner.

Just out of general intrest, Are windscreens and windows in general hard to get for skylines?? Who is the best company to go through??
-
Difficult situation your in dude. I was in the same boat when I was 18.... Insurance was expensive and I couldnt afford much... I know you probably dont wanna hear this dude but if i were u, work your arse off for 6-12 months and get some more money in the bank account. if your looking at an r33 turbo manual for 15k you may get one but it will cost u a bit to get the little problems fixed eg(paint touch-ups, timing belts, detailed etc.) If you save a bit more and wait and spend around 18k-20k you will get a clean low kilometer 1995mdl with a set of wheels and maybe a bodykit.... Plus your insurance will come down because you are older... Its only 6-12 month wait and you will get a much better car with no ongoing problems.... Good luck champ!

Hey all, Having Driven a few Skylines and having done many many laps of Winton I would say its going to be a great day up there. Im not currently a Skyline owner but I do race a Formula 3. If I get my new data logging system up and running within that time Ill be up there, might even give a few a steer of my beast..... I was racing up at Winton 2 weeks ago and the track gets very very slippery when its cold so please tread it with caution - especialy the big left hand sweeper. I dont paticularly want to see some damaged Skylines coming home......If anyone is compemplating going I would defenetly recomend going as is a fantastic track to drive..... Enjoy!

I have my heart set on an R33... But thats not to say I havent considered and R32.... They are a very very nice car but the R33 is the one for me!
-
Haha.... OMG Everyone is telling me they are heaps expensive to run.... What should I do.... My second option is an R34 GT-T... Maybe I should look into that
-
Corolla Sportivo was nice but it had to go. I want something fast thats, why im looking at a GTR, but im not looking for anything that has like 400kw... Just a standard'ish GTR and ill be happy
-
Corolla Sportivo was nice but I prefere a GTR....When I say i dont need an ultra fast car I mean I dont need something that will have 400kw if you know what I mean.... but i do want a fast car!
-
Not likely that i will be asking to run 95 octane in my car when u consider I pay near $8.00 per liter for fuel for my race car. The only reason I have to budget for my car is because I have to look at insurance costs aswell... Plus this is only a road car so I dont need anything that will be ultra fast.... After all my Formula 3 does 0-100kmh in 2.8 seconds so I dont quite think a GTR will supply me with the same thrill in terms of speed
-
Do you think its better to import one directly from Japan or by one thats already here??? I have heard from a few people now that they can be in bad condition... Itleast with one thats already here i can see if its good or bad
-
I have intentions of leaving it fairly standard due to the insurance costs.... Maybe exhaust and a bit more boost and ill be happy... I dont want something ultra quick for the street.... My race car is fast enough for that
-
Is a GTR really expensive to maintain? I knew insurance was expensive and i was just going to bite the bullet for my dream car!

Hey, how often do dyno days happen? im exetremely interested in attending one but im racing Formula 3 at Eastern Creek in NSW
