  1. pretty sure man, check the link in the first post. i'm sure i've seen it there though
  2. i said $20 for shipping 5 litres. what you pay for each quart depends on what type of oil you want, hence the link to the website with said prices. if you can find a better price, let me know cos i've looked royal purple can be got for a similar price to the full price of the oil plus shipping from some autobarns. but they don't actually keep it on stock at most places and if they order it for you, it's $8 delivery. so it ends up being more than performancelub.com anyway, and i'd prefer to support this dude than autobarn.
  3. no doubt about it - someone on the forum must've leaked the info!!! then again it could've just been an angry driver of an is200 who found out i ploughed his wife. don't worry man, i was very considerate and i know the rules - up the bum = no babies s'all good.
  4. yeah you gotta buy the 5 separate quarts which is just under 5 litres all told which should be enough for most 'lines i think. i'm still tossing up between royal purple or mobil 1. i'm running rp at the moment....doesn't really bother me tho, i'm doing my second oil change in 3,000 kms and will do another in another 3,000 when i move to redline after cleaning my engine with the early changes. i'm thinking you can get whatever oil you want though as its just the shipping that we'll be splitting, so i suppose it's not technically a group buy. depending on how many people go in, i'm happy to cover the full amount for everybody and have them pay me on pickup/delivery (i live on the goldy but work in the city just fyi if that helps anyone). i mean the worst that could happen is that i've got a heap of brand new oil that cost me less than retail....:S i'll edit my first post and add a list there, - people that want in, just pm me, let me know what you want and where you live (just the suburb will do) and we'll organise it from there.
  5. i think i've read if you were replacing or adjusting things like a cam gear, unless the belt is pretty 'fresh' you should replace it at the same time as taking it off and putting it back on is not good for its safety. i've got a spare brand new dayco one you can have for $50 if you want??
  6. Hey i'm going to buy some oil from http://performancelub.com/ in about a week and it costs abotu $20 for shipping 5 litres so i figured if anyone wanted to order with me, we might be able to save on shipping a bit. If you live on the Gold Coast and are keen, let me know and we'll organise a mutual shipping destination or something. Anyhow if no one needs oil or wants to come in on this (the discount on shipping may well be minimal anyway) no worries, I'll place my order probably friday 13th July monday 9th july (never mind the numbers below, there's no limit to this, other than i'd like to order by next friday and I can probably only cover a couple of people if need be, otherwise, i'll need cash up front) Keen person / product / suburb 1. Dashmiester .................. ....................... 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.
  7. Mud - i'm not sure of the specific rules etc. While it was intended as a humorous story, i can certainly appreciate any concern about the subject of my original post so i wouldn't protest locking this if need be.
  8. hey man what does IBTL mean? serious question edit: ahhh in before the lock!! i see i see
  9. please do.
  10. keegs - i was talking about 1 turn there champ but if you wanna run with that be my guest... (if you look) champ the very fact that you're choosing to argue with someone you believe to be a school kid is testament to your maturity. and thanks for "apoligising" about your sub-normal "interlect" but your atrocious spelling does an apt job of that for you. you must have a great life bro - good for you man!
  11. meh? haha you label me a school kid and you use - "meh"?? hahaha and yeah the extra camber on the inside lane of this particular bend does allow you to go in pretty fast if you want while still staying in your lane as you exit the turn. Clearly you're having trouble with the basic physics of driving, but you can usually take turns faster if you have extra room to exit wide - as in, into the other lane... but thanks, i'm thoroughly entertained by your argumentativeness despite continual correction
  12. ^^nice one champ, last i checked, most roads have two lanes...and on a bend, one is usually outside, while the other is....ahh why am i telling you? you're a legend!!
  13. sorry for luring you in with such a misleading thread title....
  14. haha, nah man, it was white
  15. heck yeah!! that's a craaaazy question. i think its pretty safe to say most, if not allllll of us are haunted by the thought of a demonic camry chasing us down?!? whoooh - ok enough replies, i gotta get back to pretending to work!
  16. MAN!!! haha i can't even get mad at you, cos of your username dammit!! nah i agree man, but i'm not sure if the info they have (ie a white r33 with stock wheels 'somewhere' on the gold coast) would be enough for a circumstantial conviction.
  17. haa, yeah... cos the bit about the dump was obviously serious... and it IS pretty funny that you don't know what road camber is, but you go girl!! and then... ahhhh so that's why you're up late on the net trying to lure school kids to 'ride' with you....livin' the dream man. but yeah i did expect at least one tosser to 'ave a go' at what is a obviously (to most...) humorous post, so its all good. annnnyway, nah definitely not an aristo or chaser, it had a more chunkier euro look to it, and those 'feline' style headlights all the manufacturers are doing these days. noooo idea what the plates looked like, but it was white not black. look it's just a clear indication that word is spreading about my stock 33 and people are out looking to beat me, and are trying to do so by any means possible. lanky is right, it was an aurion most definitely, and he probably HAD fitted a supercharger. Probably a nitrous kit too the sneaky f*cker... . haha, looking back, i don't know why i was even upset, i mean i was only cruising round corners in a 12 year old car with stock suspension and wheels on cheap tyres.
  18. i'm sooo devastated. on my way home from the gym i notice a family sized sedan - that looked a bit like a new camry or something coming up quick from behind me, so i think to myself "haa! you idiot, don't you know i just fitted my dump pipe the other day!?" and squirt it and easily outrun him on the straight. but he keeps it up after i ease back so i do it again, but get caught behind a car so its a bit of a restless wait....then we round a bend and the car in front goes the other way, so i punch it up this quarter mile part near my house (i measured it ) and gain 100 metres or so on him, he's clearly no competition on the straights, but round the bends he was keeping up pretty well and it's pissing me off!! Though i have to say i wasn't going all that hard cos i have the stock wheels on at the moment and they're losing traction all over the place, especially in the cold weather, what i thought to be a f*cking camry or something had pretty freakin good handling. alllthough he did go waaaaaaay wide, like fully into the other lane around a tight bend that i hugged as if i was going 40ks (its got perfect camber on the inside). SO annnnyway, i'm just cut, and feel like a little bitch. Maybe I should put my 9"s back on the rear and get some new suspension.... Oh and plus, i'm suuuuuure it was like a sport-optioned model this person was driving, whatever it was 10000% sure!
  19. crunching a little bit, but nothing major really. i just figured the oil hadn't been changed for ages. feels a hella of a lot better now it's changed tho. i suppose i'll do it again in a while and see how it looks.
  20. ban all those blasphemers who speak of this devils work known as electric cars!!!!!
  21. is it just me or does spunky ^^sound too young to even own a skyline?
  22. i think there is a winder that you can access that is POSSIBLY under the 'surround' of the electrical switches for the sunroof. I THINK! i'm at work btu i remember seeing somethign about it in my owners manual. think ti winds with an allenkey thingo...?
  23. aye aye aye. f*ck i hate people sometimes. i can't stand c*nts who ruin other people's property for no reason!! sorry to hear about it dash. good luck getting some justice
