  8. found it... http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=56812 "looking for 300-ish"
  9. ^^^ woop woop! no more snap-crackle-pop! definitely suggest changing/gapping plugs (i used BCPR6ES at 0.7) and why not silicone your coils while you're at it...?
  10. hmm $250 for coilovers wish they were in bris, i'd have them in my car by sunday!
  11. so you've just got the two front coilover shocks - no springs?
  12. i'm changing my plugs at the moment - they had heat range 5 platinum plugs in them gapped at 1.1 and i'm moving to copper heat range 6 - gapped at 0.7. I also siliconed the coils with selleys 401 (good for a bit over 200degrees) i had added a front mount/pod/full exhaust and was getting serious missfire whenever i was flooring it from like 3000 up to 6000rpm so have wound boost back to about 8 in the meantime and kept my driving pretty mild. should have the plugs done and coils in tonight so i'll give an update tomorrow on how it pans out.
  13. hmm tempting but for $470 i could get it brand new from nengun. assuming by "both" you mean ignition and injector harnesses?
  14. what sort of clutch exactly? exedy? from slide or kudos or anything?
  15. if you're down the coast or southside - my housemate uses Matty Spry on his drag car and is planning to take his V35 there when he get's his autronic tuned. I'll be taking my car to him if i ever actually get some management in my car.... :S
  16. fo real - been burned on "mail order" before - sticking to pick-up items these days.
  17. ok sweet, thanks, that is some good objective advice - cheers guys
  18. So i'm wondering for like $60 or something is it worth getting a SAFC I just to have a minor fiddle with my AF mixes to get the most out of my mild mods (FMIC/POD/CAT-BACK/BOOST-TEE)?? I know people will say "get an emanage/power fc etc etc if you want to be serious" but i don't, i just want the cheapest possible improvement for now and I want to know if the first generation SAFCs will give me ANY benefit?
