  1. How do u wind up the bOOSt? on ya turbo? This is my first car with a turbo so it's all new 2 me.
  2. Im probably not the first to ask this, but what do u need to do to make an rb30 to dohc. Can u just drop the rb25 head on, or is there alot more to it. I'm imagining there is a hell of alot more. That's why I ask.
  3. Simple, Just park near a turned on sprinkler when u get out.
  4. Mayb ther'e is noise super imposed on the demister voltage. Maybe put a 0.1 Uf cap on there to chasis ground. This will make it look like a short to any aleranting current or noise on the demister. DC wont go through the cap, cus it's like a hi-pass filter. Just a thought . Never Had the problem. My arial is in front windscreen.
  5. yeah seat doesn't fold down. U pull the back seat out. Just pull the bottom bit( sit on part) up real hard, find the clip on each side that hold it down, and Pull up hard like no 2morrow. than do other side. once u do that just simply unbot rest. and Pull the back seat out. I followed the original wirring loom, I ended up taking out drivers seat 2. to make it easyier 2 get @.
  6. Hey, Just installed an amp in my r32 gtst other day, ok. OK this what 2 do, on the drivers side the wires going into like a foam rubbery thing, rip that out. now. You'll find a ruber gland. Now whip around inside of the car and, (first get a coat hangar) now Pull back some of the sound deadening stuff( behinde accelerator) , don't need to take it off. Just pull back untill u find it. Might be easier to find if u poke coat hanger through the other end first if u can find it. U should be able to find the other end of the rubber gland. Once u find that poke the coathangar through (from inside to out / under hood). Move it around a bit, It's very thick. Now once through, rip under the hood and pull the coat hangar out a little more. Now u need some electrical tape / or some tape needs to be fairly strong. Now put the wire side by side to coat hangar (needs to overlap coat hanger and wire) Wrap electrical tape around the wire and coat hanger. Make sure the electrical tape goes up past the wire up the coat hangar and it's makes a smooth like shape sort of when the wire starts up beside coat hangar. Now Once that's done yank the power wire through the firewall. Now I ran my amp on the back of the seat in my r32, replaced the stupid plastic panel crap thing that sits at inside end of boot with a wooden one, made some brackets of off the two holes that come of the metal near back seat and mounted the wood on theire. On that is my amp and Fire extinguisher.
  7. Thanx man, Much Appriciated for the file. :-)
  8. Alot of dick smith fellars have no idea. If some leds are to bright just put a varable resistor in the circuit to them. And change resistance till it looks correct. Never poped mine a apart though so, it's just a thought. If u r realy tricky you could set up a circuit with the three color led's and get them to change by siwtching them, or run em through a micro and make some cool flashing affects. Well that would be cool, but in a bit of a fantasy world now. :-)
  9. Which manual did u find, Did u find one for the actual r32 or the cefiro. If so the r32. Luv a copy. Email [email protected]. Thanx.

  11. I just put my a new head unit in(original unit was a double din alpine), and I'm thinking of grabbing some guages, prefably the r32 gtr center gauges. Does anyone know where a good place to get these from. Or even better mayb the original flip front pocket of the r32. hey raver that's classic man LOL. Should put valcro or somthing in the pocket and some valcro on phone. :-) Mayb bluetack. :-)
  12. I use to own a s13 silvia, I rember that u had to screw the callipers on the back 2 brakes. I think to screw them in u screw them clockwise. I used a pair of long nosed plyers to do this, Had to be carefull of the rubber boot. Not sure what the skylines have for their back brakes setup, have not pulled my back wheels of yet. They sure will be a different type but may work the same, i'd imagine. check If there are to little notches on oppisite sides of the calliper. Cus that's what i used to screw the calliper back on the s13.
  13. I have an r32 skyline, It's a metalic dark grey, I have a few little paint scratches on my car, the bad thing is it sort comes out like a white scratch, I was ondering what i should do about this, I was thinking about a cut and polish job, however Im not sure what cutting the paint will do 2 the finish. Just wondering what u guys would recomend. Thanx.
