i was thinking about the campbell town par 3 course.....
its short but very tricky on some wholes and also the greens are slightly tricky as well
and you also have some easy as holes so not bad for beginners there Pete...but a pro like you should be able to complete the course with 4 under shouldnt you
If i am going to organise something i will be most likely choosing a PAR 3 course as then the groups generally tend to move a bit faster on a smaller course....
and Talbo the whole point of me playing on par 3's is its not how hard you can hit the ball its how precise your tee shot can be.....easy to flog the thing for 200 odd meters but when the whole is only 80-100 meters precision comes into play and most people struggle at that....
yay golf talk lol
i have been playing a fair amount of golf pretty much every weekend.....getting my scores down which is good...best so far has been 32 on 9 holes par 3....anyone keen for a SAU golf day....groups of 4
i think i red somewhere that Santander Bank (spanish bank) were looking at changing sponsorship from Mclaren to Ferrari....so woot woot for Ferrari the more sponsors the better...also that Mclaren announced that by them quiting F1 wont save them any money as sponsorships that they have are for long term....so some good news there as well
EDIT: just read that Santander is moving their sponsor ship to Ferrari next yeah and also that Alonso might be coming across either next year or the year after
but then again Mclaren have been on air pretty much every round apologising to everyone involved in F1 really
and apparently things have changed, Ron Denis resigned, so must have weighed up in the meeting
