  1. Still for sale, gimme some offers!
  2. Cheers for the input guys, As for processing, I got my workhorse comp that can do all that sort of stuff, all I really want the other one to do is manage/play media efficiently.
  3. Thanks for the price comparison - they are some very competitive prices. Regarding the HD, thats one of the reasons I thought I'd ask here - from what i've read, most modern budget systems are more than capable of HD stuff and anything more is overkill... any more thoughts on that?
  4. Thinking I'll need $500-$600 for the necessary gear - This thing looks to be almost ideal atm, what do you all think? http://www.itestate.com.au/pages/product/p...amp;pcode=03549
  5. Hey guys, Just wondering if you could give me some ideas for a new media PC i want to get going. Got a fancy new TV so i want to be able to record tv easily using webscheduler etc as well as browse the net and network the TV. I'd like to get out of it as cheaply as possible but also want a computer that can run HD TV nicely and a few apps at once. Main things I want is - - minimum 1Tb HD - GFX card with HDMI/VGA output - Dual TV tuner, preferably with one analogue tuner but not essential - Plan on running windows 7 as an OS, and want fast start up time etc Obviously i need a psu, mobo, cooling etc to support that stuff but i'm not too sure what i will need. Also a nice small case would be good as it will sit near the TV. Would you guys have any suggestions as to whether i'd be best looking at some second hand gear, or just get all new, and if so, whats the best to go for these days?
  6. Thanks for uploading sean; shows you slaughtering my gts-t on the straight at 9:05... I might have held you off if i wasn't held up through all the twisties
  7. Thanks from me to all the organisers, day went really well. I didn't get a chance to take too many photos because I was too busy driving, but here are a few...
  8. Thanks alot for your help guys!
  9. Tough times when you have to retire a GTR and settle for a Viper GTS-R Looks hot as tho
  10. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...ts-t158811.html Theres a previous thread on what needs to be done. I've done it myself as well, as I didn't want to go for the FMIC at this stage; only going for around 200kw and want to keep it stock looking (also didn't want to cut the car to pieces to get it to fit). You need to get one of the end tanks modified so that the pipe comes out the other side, this cost me $100 from an aluminium welder. You will then need to possible modify the existing hard tube (that curls from the cooler behind the front bar) and you also might need to slightly enlarge the holes between the engine bay and where the intercooler sits. Finally you will need to bend up some custom brackets from some sheet steel to hold it in place, as your existing brackets won't fit.
  11. Not sure how it sounds, I haven't had it fitted to my car.
  12. Disappointed you didn't make it out there this weekend uncy duncy, falcodore parade looked like v8 supercars without Gojira to mix it up.
  13. I guess they could be made to fit with a few mods+ some fibreglassing.... but I'd say not easily.
  14. Thanks mate, you're a legend! It would seem someone has beat me to chipping the ECU - now I gotta try and find out what.... If anyone can add anything I'd appreciate it
  15. Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could do me a huge favour and translate/give me the jist of this sticker someone has stuck over my ECU? Huge thanks in advance...
  16. Inside scoop - The R35 is retested in an upcoming episode of Aus. Top Gear without the limiter. It manages second fastest with a 1:07.06, only 0.2 off the fastest lap holder, the Porsche GT2...
  17. I'm in! Membership paid last week, deposited track day money this morning.
  18. Well, by the looks of it he did his fastest lap on the 16th lap so maybe that theory holds...
  19. are your wheels perfectly round? One of the fronts might have a slight buckle...
  20. N-DAWG, Did the brake conversion you did involve putting bigger discs in but using the standard calipers, or fitting adapter brackets?
  21. Hi all, Got a R32 GTR wing for sale. In reasonable condition - a few chips that have been touched up so its not perfect but unless you are particularly fussy it doesn't need a repaint or anything. Looking for $200 Located in Sydney (Bankstown area) - can possibly post at your expense but its pretty bulky
