Well to start off I bought a full turbo-back exhuast from Just Jap $899. Now the next day the car was written off. I rang them they wont do a refund but are offering store credit to $899. Now I'm not planning on modding the next car and am hoping to either trade my $899 store credit for cash. So I'm asking anyone who is thinking of getting something from them to help me out. I'm willing to give it cheaper then it's worth. E.g $899 store credit for $750. I am negotiating with the guys and hopefull can do little spendings off the total. i.e $200 here $100 there. I will accompany you to the store to make sure the transaction is smooth.

Hey Just bought a full exhaust system for my R33 GTST. One day after purcahsing it my car got written off (pretty sure it will be getting wrecked) I rang just jap they wont take return unless its faulty so I'm left to either sell it or give it back to them and get store credit. I paid just on $998 for the complete system. But had the split dump changed for a bellmouth style. Also included is a Catco Cat. I'm not expecting the full amount but it is still in original wraping $900 FIRM or I can get $998 store credit and you give me $900 cash in exchange. So just weighing the options up for a week or two then go from there. Also got blue silicon radiator hoses and blue silicon induction hose also brand new $50 and $100 respectively.

Are your sure its an emissions test at Campbelltown? Normally the guy on Waminda Ave is checking the DECC stuff - like exhuast mods/PODs, but not actually testing your emissions....

Hey guys trying to toss up whether to strip my R33 S2 or if I find a shell with no damage or panel damage only swap or my gear to that. Anyone got a shell ??

OK quick ecutalk scan showed: tps: .12v @ idle, 4.3v 100% throttle afm: 1.2v @ idle - forgot 100% 02 is deffinatley stuffed. it sometimes adjusts from .20 to .40 but mainly sits on .00 Would the ecu see this as lean or would it ignore if tps and afm read full throttle.

Yeh this is deffinately not the over rich sound poping. If you drive in 2nd @ 60 and back off the whole way on deacel its pops the same loudness like. Same sort of pop noise and its crisp not a rich sounding pop pop.

WP898 correct? I too work at a parts store and have seen these go out for rb20/rb25 only to have them returned because of the one bolt hole not lining up. I'd suggest genuine if another aftermarket one cant be sourced.

So my mate has a R33 RB25det manual. Mods include 3inch cat back and turbo timer. Standard boost without going through the solonoid (7psi?). Everything else its stock mechanical wise. He rang me today and said once he got of the m7 doing the 100km/h speed limit when he back off in gear, very loud pops can be heard. So I intially thought it might have been the normal popping sometimes associated with a bigger exhaust. These are loud crisp pops and sound to be in sync. I mean pop...pop...pop... not pop......popopopop.........pop. Sort of thing. Also now when starting the car it will stall unless the pedal is held for 5 seconds and then the car gains idle to 800-950rpm. No check light has come on yet. Checked all vacuum lines, not leaks and everything seems to be in good working order visually. Any thoughts?
