Cover your brake pads up...paint only the calipers...and personally, I'm a huge fan of Gold...the nice and darker Gold colour would look tough! Red is a bit outdated and rather too loud in my opinion.

Moral of this story is: if you go CF or FB bonnets....get some bloody proper bonnet pins AND get them installed correctly.

Mate, just remain calm. You must face it...you were hooning...not you have to face the consequences. I would go and speak to a solicitor asap...and await your summons...it should usually take 2-3 months to arrive so it won't happen this year by the sounds of things...also speak to the Police to see what are you rights concerning your car, i.e. how much would it cost to take home and what implications does this have on your police file? I would get as much information as I can.

Hi mate, if and foremost, they're LED - they should be more intensive and brighter. You can try another set besides that I don't think there is any other ways of making it dimmer. It's bulb LED dependent, I would have thought.

Hey mate, look at it this way and it will definitely make you feel much better...you're still alive!! Now, the bonnet can be replaced...you can always go back to the stock one...if you don't have a stock one, you can pick one up for under $300. Just keep an eye out on ebay, firesport.com or on the classifieds here. You'll find one soon enough. The roof can be fixed...will cost you about $500 to get it fixed and repainted...so all in all, it will cost you about $1,000 to get it all fixed...I thought your windscreen was destroyed too...but if it is not then it's not that bad! Post up some pictures if you can!

Thanks all...you guys have been great...to respond in general to some questions raised... I have 18 inch rims with 25mm adapter spacers on both front and rear. I am aiming to make around 275 kws at the wheels. I don't take my car to the track, but I'm considering brake upgrades because I may be doing this next year and I just want added safety to be honest. From what I've read here, so you guys think just some upgrades to the existing stock calipers would be sufficient, i.e. pads and lines? Thanks.
