  1. BUT.... if you go full wide-body on the R32... then it'll be sex on wheels... Ilove the R32 sides - but just not fat enough for the massuve R34 front (that's why the R33 does better here stock for stock) so if you go PHAT... it will be mind blowing... you're going all out - might as well wait a bit longer or spend a tad more and perhaps go ALL OUT?
  2. Hey mate, $700 would probably be the middle ground you'll expect... you'll get quotes from anything like $1,500 through to around $600 so I guess $700 would be a descent price for a good job - it will take a few weeks do get finished... as your roof will take the most time... they'll have to slice it off at the sides of the panel etc. Yeah, it is a good investmen... the other small things a cut and polish would do fine. Good luck mate.
  3. I personally think the R33/4 (R33 body with R34 front) suits it more than a R32/4... the lines are too different and it looks out of proportion.
  4. Yeah, when you think about it... the Trust, Top Secret bars all surround a GT-R-similiar look... that's why it's tough!
  5. Agreed. :laughing-smiley-014:
  6. Hey bud, Nah, not fatter dished rims... just what i got, 18 inch deep dish... i just want the back to slightly flared a bit only... Also, the above pics looks like fb add-on guards... don't want this, i want it done in subtle manner.
  7. Mate, just my 2 cents... but if you paint your mesh black (or get black mesh) for your car - it would make it look much tougher. And yeah, for the two items as I noted, $700 at least.
  8. From what you've written... e.g. white areas that have cut through the paint etc... I think a cut and polish is useless, you'll need a respray... to answer your question, yes, the bonnet and roof can be repainted. I had my bonnet repainted... and asked about the roof too... both can be repainted... you'll be up for around $350.00 for each... there abouts.
  9. I stand to be corrected, but when me and a couple of mates got together a few months ago to help remove the same wing from my friend's R34 GTT... after having done what you've done so far, we then had to unbolt 2-4 other bots holding the wing in place from within the boot itself from the inside. What you'll have to do and I caution you that if you don't do this delicately, there will be a huge tear in the teal inside your boot which makes it ugly as... but yeah, you'll have to cut the sheet of metal from the inside of the boot and unscew the boot that way. That's what we had to do, not sure if there are any other ways... Good luck.
  10. Are you willing to take $200 inclusive of postage?
  11. The Top Secret FrontBar is tough as... my GTR front bar is starting to crack at the lip area a bit, might chance to a Top Secret one at the end of next year... besides that, the GTR kit toughest!!
  12. Actually, this did cross my mind.... Does anyone have pictures of a R33/R32 with flared guards?
  13. BUMP... GT Wing - price drop $80.00 - take it off my hands!
  14. Yeah, get a heat gun or a hair drying and focus the heat on the badge area for about 2 minutes... don't put it too close or it will ruin the paint... then get a flathead screw driver and flick it off slowly... an original brand new S badge from Nissan will cost you around $45 I would think... I had one for sale but is now sold... sold it for around $20.00. Good luck... now how you feel, had my GT badges ripped a couple of months ago too... had to order them from Japan.... ffs...
  15. Thanks fellas... ah... I don't wanna roll mine as my rims fit nicely and there's no need to roll them... however, I just want a small flare nothing much... but I don't want to crack the paint... Oh well, I'll just have to wait until Athid responds... would you have his email mobile number by any chance? Cheers,
  16. hahahah... as funny as it seems... the best way to do this is with the heat gun and a plastic hammer... but I need somone willsome skills.
  17. I hate Honda hatch back Civics... ek's and eg's etc... people think if you chuck on an exhaust, lower it a bit and put on a Pod filter then the Civic owns the roads... give me a freaken break... they look hideous and are so granny-like... VTEC you my arse... hate them... especially ones with loud exhausts.... hahahah Examples here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/adriangail/141221468/
  18. Mate, this is exactly what I want... just a little noticable flare at the rears... looks tough as... something subtle... not too massive, but noticable... I tried PM(ing) Athid, but he's not responding - does anyone have contact details? Cheers, Kevin
  19. Yeah, understood and agreed - I really want a panel beater that knows what he's doing to do this as I want to avoid re-painting as much as possible... sounds hat Driftline know there stuff... do you have contact details, mate? Thanks.
  20. Thanks fellas.... I spoke to a few people and i's just hard to get the guards to flare... wide body kit is the way to go, but I really don't want to repaint the quater panels again... bugger... Has anyone done it here and got some pics??
  21. Agreed. However, the 400R 's front bar looks too crowded... too much vents and stuff, i.e. I hate that vent thing on the side... personally, the GTR kit is king of the pack. Simple but tough.
  22. I personally hate the veilside kit... looks like a Darth Vader on steroids... ugly and just doesn't flow with the R33's lines (like another member said above)... GTR kit is fine as long as with no badge... the TRUST or TOP SECRET front bar is fine.
  23. To make it easy for you - I also live in the Western subs - just go to Tint Professor, give them the cash and ask for the darkes legal tint available - come back in 2 hours and it's professional done.. I am very happy with mine.
