hey guys my car was stolen from out front of my mates house in forrestfield early hours of sunday morning. just got her back on the road after alot of money spent on engine etc, plus 2 1/2 years of my own blood sweat and tears! plates are kalgoorlie plates 7KCFC quite a few mods done, cant miss her. except byond custom, seems like a good joint, not to bad on the price so far either, waiting on paint prices.

seems i'm wasting my time here, everyone seems tobe to busy doing hail damaged cars.....no ones doing private work huge let down, no idea what i'm gonna do now.

no one knows or have had a nice paint job done from somewhere?? recommendations?

half way through project cars all in pieces, gotten to a point where i dont have time/got lost with my direction and find myself looking at it not knowing what i have todo. i know what i want and thought i knew how it was going tobe done, but yeah i'm lost as to what i gotta do now and its getting tobe to big a job todo at home, so decided to get the pros todo it and fork out the money. basically i want some bog work done and a full respray/change of colour so i can get her back together and on the road. theres a bit of work tobe done some repairs, but most of the stripping has been done. HELP!! need places to talk to or ideas?

yeah sucks...dont look like mine will be ready for this year either, taking longer than expected, else i'd be keen to organise an area for skylines to meet up...

and i understand that. so if i was a member already and brought this up would it have changed the way this seems to have turned out? a wanna-be member trying to understand something and then basically called a whiner and a tool and expect me to take it? all because i'm not a member yet? This has blown way outa proportion it seems some ppl may have taken offence as there are thing i dont understand of yet, which was all i was trying to find out as my first impressions were not so great. It seems i am let down again. I love my skyline and just wanted to share it with other sauwa guys as i was going to join, now i will need tobe scrutinised by the committee. Great.

My negative attitude? the only attitude i've showin was to ppl who feel the need to be sarcastic when it comes to whiners and my membership when i've already explained it, apart from that it was a legitimate attempt to find a reason why/what happens when it comes to car shows/events and how come we didnt have anyone organise SOMETHING. I now know and i'm fine with it, i really think you misunderstand. and i was only getting fed up because i felt i was repeating myself...thats all really. But if you feel the need to do it then fine do what you must.

like i just expected that sauwa or members or someone woulda organised something, to my disappointment there was not a lot, i know i know we've been through the not entering as a club thing, but ya know as i've said before even if it was 2-3 cars and just a place for the members to call "home" so to speak... i feel like I'm just going in circles here and need to speak political jargon to make yas try see my point, Cant say Sauwa as a whole as you stated you wernt as a club blah blah i'm done with it.

as i've stated before, i'm new to this sort of thing and wouldnt know where to start, i just expected to see a little more from sauwa than i did i realise now i obviously was naive to think otherwise, sorry.. but in future when i know what i'm doing i'd love to help out more there.

Also calling newer members like myself and others whiners and tools really shows how awesome we handle ppls concerns about this stuff. Really makes us feel soooo welcome and wanna hang around.

more cruises/driver training and fun days there than actual club representation at events. I dont have issues with the events we do have, its club rep at car shows/big driving events with other cars and the likes.

When i say club i dont mean the head's of the club i mean everyone, silwa have a front page that has events listed, i know i know its to hard todo as we share with the whole of aus and they are only WA. i'm not really trying to point fingers just wish more was done, If i wasnt so new to this scene i woulda been happy to organise something, but my cars out of action as am i and i wouldnt know the first thing about car shows let alone what we are allowed to do/show that has the clubs name on it....Just feel as tho nothing happens here....or am i missing things? i dunno sorry for any confusion or my spelling or lack of knowledge, i just felt a little dissapointed as i love skylines alot.

I am, and i'm not, i havent paid my fee's yet as i have lost the return email. secondly i am new to this and i feel a little resentment for saying it was a poor effort by the club? Not enough interest by the club? well i dont even recall anyone here even organising/advertising so the members knew about properly it apart form this topic! It needs to be put where eveyone can see/read when they arrive at the site. I'm sure if more ppl knew about it and that some thing was being done the numbers woulda come. Even if we had 3 cars, still coulda of had signs saying where we are from to get the name out there, alot of WA skyliners out there that arnt members who would prolly love to be but dont know about us. Just so we all know i've read the posts about us not having anything todo with the event etc etc still couldnt have stopped us from still trying, wasted opportunity at a really good event. I feel i'm wasting my time trying to help ya's realise a point here. I realise the event was not having club entry as an option, but is that to say we couldnt snatch an area and fend for ourselves Together?? silwa did, and yeah if suawa wont try represent next year i'll be joining the silwa crew, as they are a good bunch and was awesome fun! Just hope my car is ready Ps: sweet, was a good effort you guys put in! was enjoyable and had many laughs haha.
