Well i just realised at work yesterday the the demo is now out. Downloaded it last night and played it. FINALLY good to be back in the old days of C&C NOD vs GDI Deff bringing back memories! Graphics are very crisp, load times are stupidly quick! ~10sec's Cut scenes are like they used to be (good ol Kane) Demo weighs in @ 1.2gb but deff worth it. Check it out!

Spotted a Silver 4 Door V35 turning off Gawler place and onto Grenfel yesterday arvo. Deff looked the good, normal plates, no mods i could see of. Owner on here?

Whats that got to do with Vista or am i missing something here?

I can speak from experience cos i picked up a 7900GT 512MB for my new comp 4-5 months ago and it kicks ass! BUT already starting to see it show its age (yeah i know) Time to upgrade again soon when the 8800 series start dropping a lil in price. Anyone wanna buy mine?

I got the demo/beta from a torrent site as it was a closed beta Thing is from what i have read it is/was basically the whole game. Bad thing is now that the beta/demo had a time frame on it of a specific date.... And that dat ehas been reached so the game wont run any more, waiting for a crack but in the mean time i went and paid for the game in full so when it come out i will have it ASAP! BTW yes it was a PC Demo... Release date it end of next month i think.

As the title suggests.... I recently got the BETA/Demo and OMFG i seriously have stopped playing GTR2 (i know i know) Its not so much a Sim as GTR2 is but its just so much damn fun. 2000 miles of real time ACTUAL Hawaiian road! So many cars to choose from its not funny! Offical tuning brand like NISMO, Ottinger, Hamann... List goes on! Not to mention if your not into driving around Hawaii you can jump on a Kawasaki or Ducatti instead! Head over to Atari and check out some of the videos!

Actually a SHIT LOAD! The new C&C Crysis (DX10 only - correct me if im wrong) Supreme Commander Test Drive Unlimited Will get a bigger list later but thats all i can remember off the top of my head. BTW get GTR2 in the mean time lol

Yeah im pretty sure everything should be fine including HDD for the upgrade. Only thing im a lil pahsed about is my processor (4000+ mentioned above - would prefer dual core) my RAM (another 2GB would be ideal) and Vid card (even though its a 7900GT 512MB i would like a Nvidia "8" series - DX10 please). In saying that im sure i should be fine in the mean time. Ive run the Vista Upgrade advisor and the only things that are not supported on my Comp is Nero and i THINK my on board sound card, not sure what im gonna do about that :S

LOL Flow chart was awesome! When i upgrade which will be in the next couple of months (give em a lil more time to iron out the security flaws) i'll be going with Ultimate. Really looking forward to it actually! SO you say a 7200rpm HDD with 6mb Cache should rock it? I would love a 7500rpm but i can't justify a smaller capacity for the faster speed. BTW anyone got a x2 AMD Socket 939 processor above or = to 4000+ that they wanna sell?

I dont think there would be that many problems with compatibility between Vista and XP cause thats something that would of had to of been considered when building this OS. Not everyone is gonna have Vista, plus ALOT and i mean ALOT of major businesses still use an even older OS, take us for example i work for the SA Gov and we are still using Win 2000, there is talk of us POSSIBLY upgrading to XP this year but. Point is like i said that would of been a major thing to think about when building this OS

Yeah im deff looking at picking up another 2GB of RAM.... However i dunno if i read correctly but, it says vista can use a virtual drive as ram... So a 1-4GB Flash drive in thoery could be used as ram? Thinking about gettin a x2 processor as well but the only problem is AMD dont make socket 939's any more so i have to try and find a decent socketed 939 x2 processor, and there are a couple on Ebay, there was even a 46 or 4800 x2 on there but pricey.

Im gonna look into it purely because my XP is on the blink big time! So instead of a reformatt in XP im gonna give vista a go, and to all the people that are thinking of getting it dont be suckered in to paying $100's more for a retail version. Jump on the net and get a OEM version. Vista Ultimate Retail = ~$700 Vista Ultimate OEM = ~$300 Differance? I think you get it in a box and thats about it. Maybe you get a manual too but... Why? Good thing is currently my game of choice is CSS again (dunno why i headed back to it) and i deff know it works on Vista so that should keep me happy. It will be running on a AMD 4000+, 2GB RAM, 7900GT 512mb, 180gb hdd with another 320gb on the way. Aero should look good, can't wait, wank factor ahoy

I'll d/l Le Mans 2night and give that a burn. Ive found that emptying out the fuel tank (sneaky) actually gets better times for obvious reasons. Ummmmm i did the 7:15 on the tourist version of the ring. Should i be using the other one? MC12 i cracked it with. BUT i went backwards down the straight at the ring lol cos its more down hill backwards. Only got up to 290ish goin the correct way.

Nurenburgring! d/l the track and jump on that straight. i'll do it now and let you know how i go! EDIT: just clocked 309km/h on the stright just with a differance in gearing. Also did a 7.15.38 with no steering wheel.... just keyboard. Damn i cant wait to get my steering wheel!
