  1. Yeah, I just had a look at the apexi site, and they do look pretty impressive. I figure that if i want the good looking stuff, I'm going to have to pay for it. And the apexi stuff is meant to be pretty good, so i can't see myself backing out of it just because of cost. I was just thinking that maybe a few different places such as Evo R and Makspeed might have different prices for them and i might be able to save a bit of money. Thanks for your help.

  3. That's a bit of a kick in the guts, but would be worth it. Might spend some time making a few calls and seeing what people can do for me. I really want the el gauge though and i do expect to pay for the look of it.
  4. Thanks heaps for that. If all goes to plan, I'll head down there on Friday and then should be able to put them in on the weekend. Do you have a rough idea of the cost of them both?
  5. Instant, Where can i get a gauge holder that goes onto the pillar for the apexi gauge? Also, where did you get that gauge from? I'm thinking that Evo R might be the place to try(?)
  6. All good. Might even try the autobarn up at the Glen (even though it is very small) and see if they have then. Otherwise I'll go for a bit of a drive. As long as the person that i talk to knows what they are on about Next question, maybe should start a new thread but I'll try it here. I want a boost guage that lights up blue like the eluminescent dashs. I'm going to do my dash like that, so i may as well do it to my guages as well. Any ideas would be great.
  7. Yeah, they guy said that they didn't stock them, but i wouldn't call him the most confident person. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay?
  8. I went there a few weeks ago when i bought my steering wheel and they said that they didn't stock them. Might have to try again and ask someone else. Now all i have to do is find a good boost guage.
  9. Just wondering, will the R33 GTR seats fit into the GTST? I'm not really a fan of the gtst seats as they really don't hold me in enough when I'm moving around the corners, so i figure that the gtr seats have to be better. Only sat in one once, but i liked what i saw. Also, is there any better option than gtr seats that won't cost me heaps?
  10. I'm looking at installing a boost guage and wanting to install it on the A pillar. What i need to do is find a single guage holder. Does anyone know of a place to get one from. I leave in the south east. Thanks.
  11. I'm interested in a front grill like the one that you listed earlier. Have you got any left? In black if possible. Also, wouldn't mind one of those single DIN dash pockets. One that is a lidded (flip lid) one though. Seen these on Silvia's.
  12. Cool. Thanks for that. i'll try and get there a little before 9.
  13. Ok. Then I'm guessing that you guys would be meeting up on the city bound side. How would i get there if I'm coming from the city? As you can see, i really don't know that area too well.
  14. Yeah, that could work. It is not all that much further away from Geelong Rd. Which side of the road is that macca's on? City bound, or out bound? I haven't been that way for some time.
  15. I'm from the south-east, around Glen Waverley way. Anyone going to meet up from this part of the world before heading down to Geelong, or i am just going to have to meet everyone down there? The drive down to Geelong is so boring
  16. I'll be there.
  17. I'm up for it. I'm in the south east, so let me know where we are going to meet up (that is if we are going to meet up on this side)
  18. I've got a R33 95 model. I normally get around 400km per tank, but sometimes get less depending on how much I'm booting it, or if I'm stuck in traffic. But out on the open roads i get a fair bit more.
  19. I got a momo steering wheel. The boss kit that I'm using is a HKB ON-177. I was told that it would work with HICAS, but the most trouble that i had was removing the airbag. There are a few star bolts that took me ages to get off. Ended up taking it to a workshop and getting them to remove it.
  20. Hey all. I've been reading a fair bit about HICAS. I've started to get the light on my dash after i put an aftermarket steerwheel on. I've still gotta check if all the bits are in the right places, but it also got me thinking, should i keep HICAS. Every other car that i have had didn't have the 4 wheel steering, so i was thinking, would i miss it if i took it off? So i was wondering what everyone else thinks, should i keep it, or take it off? And those that have removed it, it is better without it, or do you wish that you never took it off in the first place. Thanks.
  21. I'm in too. Be good to meet everyone
  22. I just removed my wheel. You need to find someone that car remove the star bolt that holds the airbag on. That is the hardest thing. You don't have to leave the car stand for 30 minutes as the capacitor is located in the steering column so as soon as you unplug the airbag, you can remove it.
  23. Had mine for just over 4 months
  24. My hicas light has started to come on after a bit of driving too. I've just put on an aftermarket steering wheel, but the bloke said that it should be ok. I've checked the fluid level and it is all good, so i would have to guess that it is the steering wheel. Anyone know a good place to go to get a boss kit for a momo steering wheel that doesn't screw around with hicas?
  25. Yeah, that makes sense, but those bolts are kind of a star shape, so now i have to find something that will undo them.
