can I clear something up here man, I started this thread, then some other dude selling a white 34 has posted here saying that no one is gunna drive HIS car or some crap. go back a few pages and you will see his white 34 plus all the crap he has been saying for some time now, I dont care if you dont want to buy mine, It will sell one day as i am in no rush but dont mistake my comments about someone else posting crap. hmmmmmmmm everyone is caught up on dsl...... I am an account manager for 3 and one of our products is a datacard that sits in my laptop. This connects in to our network at speeds of up to 384 kbps wirelessly in most metro areas around australia. We are in the process of upgrading to 2MB per second download by the end of the year and another upgrade to 10 MB per second by the end of next year all through our mobile network. Or data rates are capped and you dont have to go home to use the connection... I have been driving with a mate of mine while writing this message connected to the net. Kinda makes DSL boring, Sure if you want to sit on the net downloading crap all day mabye adsl is the go, but if anyone needs more info PM me.

I am missing something here, my car was compied in QLD when it came into OZ, it was run through regency to get SA Rego, I havent got a letter and I hope I dont, this sound like a crock of shit to me, there is no way I am taking it back to regency to get an SA plate of aproval, what a waste of my time and money, I dont understand what the plate is for??? can someone explain.

Just a thought driving past colley reserve the other day and there was a holden show and shine and a minin cooper show and shine on the other reserve. Considering there is a lot of imports in adelaide wouldnt it make sense to have a day for us? Show and shine, no cruising or cops, heaps of people checking out the cars, no police and everyone gets to mingle and check out each others cars. Couldnt hurt could it?

In answer to the colour the car was originally black, apparently the first owner in japan wanted the GTR purple colour in the GTT but the factory didnt spray it that colour because the gtr was the only one to have it. Therefore the owner got it completely resprayed straight away in 2 pack. The job is immaculate and obviously the photos state that. I spoke to a spray painter and he said a paint job like that would have cost 5-7 grand. I couldnt pick that it was resprayed when I bought it so there you go. Either way its the only one that I know that colour in exisitence. that answers that.

hmmm let me see considering there are similar r34's going for 42k plus at them moment on carpoint and carsales.... no the price hasnt changed, furthermore my r34 is the only one in australia, possibly in the world that is the same color as an r34 gtr factory purple. there is only 7 r34's in adelaide which kinda makes this particular car special, especially with low original kms....I have someone busting my nuts to buy it now but It may not be worth it for me as it is a work car. Might hang on to it and see what happens.... just like the phase 3 gtho's which go for 70 k plus.... the r34 is fast becoming an icon in australia motoring you might get a 34 for 35 plus at the moment but you wont get them in excellent cond with low kms for less.. why? thank RAWS... it cost too much to get one in with compliance these days... there is no money in it. Too many 33's & no 34's...34's price will stay as it is if not increase... supply and demand. What would you have a standard wrx 4 door for 43 k or a rare kick ass 206kw turbo intercooled rwd r34 for 35 k?...or mabye a standard commodore?

I remeber the days 1987-1991when the Glenelg carpark existed (now its holdfast shores) And I used to go down there with a mate and watch cars drive around the carpark doing burnouts all night long..... as amatter of fact they used to roll up with a boot for of spares just to pop tyres. I even remember a pristine gtr xu1 going straight into the carpark wall after losing control doing burnouts. There was one guy that was doing the biggest burnout you have ever seen, there was so much smoke he couldnt see the cop car behind him flashing his lights. No one did a thing about it back then, now you cant even fart in your car.. sign of the times...ce la vie.
