if you like the sound but hate the stall. Get yourself a HKS rev controller. Its designed to rev up sleighty through gears changes and help prevent stalling. Works really well in my car.

Are GT30R turbos known to blow? I did change the pod filter back to airbox. maybe thats caused the change in sound?

My turbo sounds a bit different than usual it has more of a pithed sound than normal. Still pulls the same and hits the same boost. Could it be oil needs changing ( too thin). Curently using Motul Turbo lite.

My car does the same sometimes, most likely cause would be either fuel pump or injectors. i have a power fc and when it happens i look at the inj duty and its 100% . It never used to it when i had 550cc in there. Two ways to fix it.... 1. Bigger fuel pump, Fuel reg and bigger Injectors and tune.. or 2. Turn the boost down.

Protek in Preston are really good highly recommend , stay away from Revzone they couldn't tune a radio..

I was thinking apexi soinoid plug as i have a power fc but i want funtions like scramble and graghs. peak settings ect. thinking of Blitz SBC 3. Has anyone used this type, how do they rate ?

Just wondering if anyone could tell me from there experience what brand electronic boost controllers are good. Are Blitz better than greddy? or should i go all out and get an apexi avc. i basically want something that is easy to use and has a digital display. Any help would be great..

Slightly different i had it tuned to the larger turbo but knocked a few degrees out and pulled some fuel out when i was running standard turbo. my tune supported 18 pounds.

Had this boost controller running in my skyline boosting a gt30r till i got a EPA and it all had too come off. So i basically had to return everything back to standard. That was all fine till i blew the standard turbo on New years eve. Now Ive got the other turbo back on but im having trouble trying to hook up the boost controller back up again . This time around i have mounted the controller in the dash and ran a vacum line through the fire wall into the tee piece that goes to the acuator and intake. But there is no boost increase even when the boost is dialed all the way up. Could it be the vac hose is too long or is it the t piece that im using as it is only a plastic one? i used the plastic t piece before the epa and it worked fine but where it was mounted it was plan as day.. Also driving my car today with no boost controller i noticed boost wasnt consistant as would sit around 0.7 bar then spike around 1 bar when at 5500rpm. could it be the acuator? mods are GT30r Apexi power FC Spitfire Coil Packs 023 Bosch Fuel pump FMIC Turbo back 3.5 Super Drager Exhaust
