mmmm...this could very well be a 14psi actuator...as most hks actuators are....what amount of boost do you plan on running and what modifications other then the turbo do you have to support these??? i will tell you now with an actuator set at 14psi you wont get any spiking or weird boost creep...it will be smooth and throughout your rev range.

thanks for the heads up guys...im going to get a malpassi rising rate fuel pressure reg or a nismo one and ive got a apexi n front mount, exhaust, ebc so im hoping to tune up the safc next weekend and bring the boost up to 14psi....hopefully see the 190rwkw mark.

ok the manifold was slightly loose...now the whizzing is much less...sounds alot more like a turbo now...thanks fgor all your help peepz!!

ive still got standard air box....may be gfasket on my manifold...

ive been advised by my tuner that on a good tune it can handle 14.5psi

is the fuel reg adjustable or rising rate...pm me with reply thx

wow thanks for the reply fella'z....its got the 10psi actuator and yeh the whizzing is always der on low spool and once it spools up it goes away and is quite a loud noticable spool.... although i gotta admit its definately an upgrade and very noticably gains throughout the higher rpm's.....drifting is much nicer now....and quick shifting to second leaves your wheels spinning.... its a funky sound the whizz...and quite sensitive to spool up...i checked all connections and there all tight with no leaks..... ive inspected it very closely and seems ok...drives fine...im going to get my safc tuned and up the boost to 14.5 psi and see how it goes...wish me luck!\ I WILL KEEP EVERY1 UPDATED...IF ANY1 HAS AN IDEA ABOUT MY WHIZZING PLEASE POST...YOUV'E ALL BEEN GREAT HELP!

how many psi u planning on setting your turbo at??

ummm i will try and get video tomorrow...literally sounds like this....whizzzzz whizzzz....not your regular spooling sound...

mine has a whizzing sound on low revs.....

it literally is a whizzing noise...not spooling noise....im scared to drive the car...ive relpaced over 10 turbo's and neva heard a turbo sound like this.... on low spool it literally sounds like a whizzzz whizzzz whizzzz....

just installed a r33 turbo on my rb20det and there seems to be a whizzing sound on low spool....... the turbo has no shaft play and spins freely without a sound out of the car.... there is no smoke or anything of that sort.... any1 have an idea of why it would be whizzing when spooling up??? im kinda scared to drive it...a mate told me that it may not be getting oil....although my last turbo was fine and didnt whizz...and got oil just fine...all i did was place the new turbo in my old turbo's existing place....PLZ HELP!!! does your r33 turbo on ur rb20det make a whizzing sound???

wats a sitc??? and how do i get incontact with yoshi??? is he located in sydney?? also how come your upgrading to a power fc if your apexi safc is doing a "good" job?? or isnt it!

cool...i dont want the cc of the injectors to go beyond 405cc as the apexi safc can only handle 150% of the standard computers limits.

are you sure...my dyno guy told me my injectors will max out at bout 170rwkw
