problem re-occured. the video only plays when the car ISN'T running, the video plays for about a minute or 2, the yellow comes up with some error msg for 2-3 secs then switches back on to video playing.. but as soon as u turn the car on.. the video disappears but audio remains... also chris, cutting one of wire off the white plug or re-wiring the wrong one, wuld der be any chance that it culd've affected the igniton/power of the car.. my car is really struggling to start.. ?...

chris i took the car for a drive... and it didnt do it.. i just realised that wen i initially trialled the dvd player.. i didnt have the car running.. and thats wen the msg came up and turned off by itself.. neway.. i"ll see how it goes.. if i get any further problems then i'll take the nav out and take a picture of it.. thanks for ur support...

hi guys, i managed to install my pnp with a dvd player supplied by chris.. it took me 4 hrs with a lot of frustrations as i've never done any electrical stuff before being in a medical field.. but neway, im quite proud of it... with chris help, i managed.. just not as happy as yet, when i play d dvd.. 2-3 mins later.. a yellow screen comes up with some error msg.. ( im assuming it is, as it is written in jap..) then it screen turns by itself off?... any ideas wat it is?.. also, chris.. does this affect the power of the car?.. i dont know if it was a coincidence, but after the installations, my car was having problems to start.. it took a few goes and revs to keep it going.. i've never had changed my battery since i have purchased it and still have the jap battery.. lastly, (lol).. does anyone know how to get the screen to a larger view/widescreen, or how to improve the quality of the image.. i was quite disappointed with the picture quality i must say.. being used to watching hdmi plasma tv..

hey guys.. when i went to japlink to sort my cd player.. d guy showed me what he uses for the tv and sat nav.. he uses a film type antenna for good reception....

i rand a few places in sydney like.. sunroof centre.. all specialises in sunroof.. quoted 1500- 1800.. which is not too bad but just a bit scared that it might be a problem in the future..

when i press the cd button, it asks to load the cd, then when u insert the cd, it takes a while to read.. around 20secs then it comes up as "cd error f3" it doesnt make any funny noises.. there is no problem with inserting, ejecting nor changing cd between stacker, it just cannot read d cd fro some reason..

its just keeps coming up as "cd error".. told the dealer about it and was quite surprise that it isnt working.. they"re quite busy so they won't be able to fix it until 2 weeks.. its gets really lonely inside that car without music lol!

Frank.. i picked up my 350gt today.. now i asked the dealer to put the xenon back on, and they said they did.. now how can i tell the difference between a xenon or non--xenon?.. also i found these connections in my glove compartment that looks like a bulb connection..

JK, did u actually tell them all your driving history?.. im 24 and i got quoted $2200 for a full comprehensive without layng down my history?.. how could u get it lower with such bad history?

hi.. im getting my 350gt on tuesday.. i got quoted $2200 from just cars.. but that is not laying down my fines ( 2 without p-plates and driving an unregistered car!) do u think that i will be penalised if i accept the quote without telling them about my past history? ewhich is not 2 bad compare with others really! lol

i agree.. i would love to keep evrything functioning as much as possible..
