  1. Fuel used is 98 octane. My power problem is solved. The cam timing was 1 tooth wrong. I'll see how far the injectors will go, I do know that 450rwhp is possible with 555 injectors.
  2. HI, was not joking, didn't see your reply early enough though.
  3. Hi, I've built the engine myself, so i know the position of the markings behind the harmonic balancer. I think though that there might be 1 tooth offset on the crank, I removed spark plug 1. and used a pin do check the position of piston 1. against the timing marks. the piston was not at top before I had turned the crank so that it alligned with the timing TDC. Also the manual says that the timing markings and cam markings should be spot on. I will move the timing belt one tooth tomorrow and see how the engine reacts then. Thanks for your reply
  4. Hi. I just checked my cam timing (RB25DET), the markings on the timing belt pulley on the crank, and the markings on the cam pulleys are all lined up. But when i checked the ignition markings on the crank pulley, it shows 15 degrees when the cams are ligned up with their markings. According to the manual, the ignition markings should be at TDC O degrees when the cams are aligned. Has anyone ever checked their ignition markings against the cam markings? How can it be possible to get 15 degrees offset on the ignition markings when all the timing belt marks are aligned?
  5. Hi, This is the engine: · 1.6 mm Greddy Head Gasket · HKS Timing Belt · Greddy Plenum · Splitfire Coils · Tomei Poncams · Tial 44 mm Wastegate · XS power style exhaust manifold · Garrett GT3582R A/R .82 · FMIC · Nismo 555cc Injectors · Walbro 255 l/m in tank fuel pump · HKS air filter · 3” elbow/downpipe, with cat replacer. · 3" Greddy cat back Running with NGK BCPR7ES spark plugs, 0.9 mm gap. My computer is GTSlink. Going to check the cam timing later this day. Thanks!
  6. Hi, I don't think valve float is the problem, the curves look ok, but it might be.. Think there is some other restriction somewhere. Thanks!
  7. Thanks!! I'm looking for some bugs on the engine as well.. I'm not happy with the result at all.
  8. Hi, Has anyone got an ignition map which i could compare to mine? got way too low power output on the dynapack today. My tuner wasn't sure how much ignition the RB25DET could deal with. So this is my ignition map, got 383RWHP and 390 NM of tourque @ 1.4 bars on a GT3582R If any one has got a 400++ RWHP ignition map, could you please share it with me? On PM or in this thread. Thanks, Stian
  9. problem solved, must have been the exhaust cam causing the whole problem. Last year when working on the engine, the exhaust cam broke in two pieces, got a used one from a friend of mine. Anyways, recently ordered and installed a new set of tomei poncams, and suddenly problem solved! I can't really figure out what the problem was with the used cam I got from my friend, can't see anything wrong with it. have you guys got any ideas? Going to the dyno at the end of this month, with my new tomei poncams, greddy plenum and GT3582R turbo, hoping to get a better result than last year, hehe..
  10. There is at least two RB25DET's over here running way over low 300rwhp. -gt3582r, greddy 1.6mm head gasket, stock internals/head @ 1.2 bar - 448rwhp -turbonetics (don't remember which one), all stock internals/head, even stock head gasket @ 1.6 bar- 451.9 rwhp they have both been using their cars at the track, many times last year, without problems at all!
  11. Hey, my volk gtc's offeset are 30 front, and 31 rear.
  12. They shouldn't be to expensive for you guys to get them, compared to here in Norway-> paid around 5000AUD for rims and tires.
