  1. Does anyone know whats supposed to be in the high beam socket in an R33 S2? The bloke i bought my car off has 12v 55Watters in there and i have a feeling thats the wrong value, as thats the same as whats in the low beam socket? Thanks guys...
  2. Check all associated fuses dude... Failing anything wrong there, you may have to take your door trims off, drop your speakers out and see if theres movement in the speakers themselves while theres some music playing. If theres no movement, check all your wiring is still intact with a continuity test on a multimeter and/or take the speaker out and run it up on a different source (lounge room stereo etc [dont overcrank it]) Just use a process of elimination until you find where the problem lies...
  3. Hey guys, just been having a crack at installing some speakers into my 98' R33 Door panel. They are decent speakers so i need to run some decent sized cable thru the door. I've had a look at the FHRX guide above and it has all been very straightforward with the exception of the door plug. Is there any trick to getting this plug out and back in? Or is under my dash more cramped than other R33's for some reason? I'm sure theres something im not doing right. I'm guessing undo the bolt thats thru the plug and remove the seal around the rubber grommet, for starters. Otherwise it's been very difficult to pull the plug out properly in one piece so that i can drill it out. The only way that i can see to make it easier is to take the whole door off...Which i'd like to avoid Thanks for any help guys...
  4. Just a question on modifying the door plugs >> Is there a trick to getting these in and out easily? The area under the dash where the plug socket is located is incredibly cramped... I don't think even an ant could turn around in there. Short of taking the door off to get proper access to this plug, is there something that will make the job easier? Thanks in advance.
