  1. Sweet, i think ill go for it, is there much to installation?
  2. Hey guys, just a quick question, Was thinking of getting an Apex'i Pen Style Turbo Timer for my R34 just as a small addition to the car, and a cheap first mod. I like to do lets say, a decent amount of 'spirited' driving and thought that it might be a good idea to help preserve my stock turbo So i just wanted to know if it is a worth while addition to a completely stock car. Thanks, Steve
  3. Does any1 know of any in QLD? thinking of goin darkest legal on all except the front
  4. Thnks 4 all the comments people - @ MAYHEM - Yeh im not sure about the spoiler, i too like the spoiler-less look but not sure if i actually like it over having one on there but man i must say those rims of urs are tight, those are 20's right? I've fallen in love with the black rim/polished lip look, or something of the sort, but i don't think ill go over 19's when i get to that stage lol, love ur ride
  5. Looks tight, well done, im lovin the look of black rims wit a polished lip more an more
  6. Nice, very nice indeed I do agree with DriftyR33 though in that gettin a lip on there would finish it up nicely, but well done
  7. True, but, if you have a water tank at home, then you can use all the water you like, until your on town water, but as Yidz said, you don't need a lot to get a good job done
  8. Ahh, looks tight man, I considered doin a conversion at some point during the course of my 34's life, since i only just bought it its still a fair way off if at all But that looks real nice, i like the front bar too, good choice, well done
  9. Nice man, good buy, i just bought myself a 34 a week ago, though its white and completely stock What mods are there atm, can see an exhaust...
  10. @ MissR34 - That looks nice, did you have the holes in the boot lid filled? Ii've always thought tht 34's look sweet with out the spoiler, i think ever since seeing the 'MR DMD' R34 with that gorgeous catalunya spalsh I saw it when i picked up my car, with its Do-Luck front and Bomex sides and Rear, Im gona feel like such a copy cat when i get around to buying the kit... lol
  11. Yeh the decision can be tough, been looking at exhausts, don't want bigger than a 3", trying to figure out what would be the best type to go with, short of that, i definatly need to do a stereo upgrade, i love my music, but the one thing im 100% on is the bodykit, its gonna be the package from DMD, (funnily enough i bought the car from someone who works there) the Bomex Sides and Rear with the Do-Luck front, I've always thought it looked hot, sorry to those who already have it lol
  12. Hey people, So i got ma new ride finally... August 01 i became the proud owner of this sweet Manual ER34 25Gt-t, totally stock and runs beautifully Now the hardest part is just deciding what to do to it first!
  13. Hey there, I can't say that i have experienced it myself, though i know its there. There is a huge thread on HICAS here... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=113261 Have a read Hope it helps Steve
  14. Well in the end, you could always go for a re-spray, but... Black is gorgeous and Silver too, Tell me though, is anyone familiar with the MCR R34, that in its red state looks hot, the only thing i don't like about the Red is that it takes away from the tail lights a little
  15. Sweet, well looks like the GT-t is the way to go, i was leaning that way anyway. Yeh i enjoy driving heaps, not to mention i have a fair hike to work and back every day, or should i say night, (well is 3am still considered night if you started work in the evening?) but that leaves me with nice open roads all the way home, not that i speed or anything?! I do want it Turbo'd eventually either way, strengthening the need for a GT-t straight up As far as a sedan goes though, i'd prefer the coupe just because i find it more pleasing to look at lol, mainly the rear from the wheel arch back And yeh fo sure, when i get it pics will be uploaded!!!
  16. Hey peoples, Im new to these forums as im sure you can tell, Im also looking at getting myself an R34 in the coming months My dilemma is this: I definatley want the R34 but im not sure whether its worth paying 18-21k for a GT or spending the extra and paying around 25k for the GT-t I do want it turbo charged whether i buy it like that or have to do it down the track (preferrably already done hence the Gt-t) Also looking for something as close to stock as possible but i mean if the price is right then some modifications wouldnt be so bad. Also if anyone can point out some of the major differences (or even just minor ones) between the two models it would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Steve
