  1. Confak So what mods has you car got to go along side the computer, everyone seems to have lots of expensive gear alone with it. Who is doing the tuning for u. If i dare say so the air temp sender will not help fuel consumption but asist the car to run well in all wether conditions! Are you running the base prgram on normal mode to use this much fuel? MattR This not idling in the wet is interesting do you have the aditional air temp sender?
  2. Your cold idle problem is easily fixed, take it to your tuner and they will sort it with just a few cold starts if not get back to me and i'll give you some pointers! But how does you car return to idle when warm, and how high is the idle? Mine stalls if set to 750rpm when pulling up at a set of lights, if done gently it idles fine but you carn't even free rev it without it coughing and splutering!!
  3. The old R33's don't have much of a power curve or the aftermarket computers don't do much for the power curve. Interesting!
  4. Just letting you guys know i started this post because i HAVE a LT-12 plug in Microtech. I have located the air temp sender under the existing air scoop so it is not easily noticed and the AFM is still in its place so when i get the sh#*ts with the microtech i can plug in the std computer. I can tell you that the car will run with the std maps but run like crap in the sense of drivability and idle control (i'm still yet to believe the idle will ever be right) so the first thing you need to do is get it tuned as well!!! Also i recomend the purchase being from RPM Adelaide as Microtech Sydney will RIP YOU OFF BIG TIME if they give you a good price make them fax it to you or they will charge you extra on your card and not refund it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
  5. That sucks to be me. They over charged me and now going to bring a better model out. What are the guys forum names?
  6. Still not many people out there running the newist Microtec LT-12's. Have one myself just wondering if anyone has some feed back on them.
  7. The tuning seems to need a fairly rich mix to run smothly, and the idle map is giving me the most greaf of all with the new use of a map sensor not AFR. Can you remember the (ruffly) idle curve?
  8. The 13 is because you have Roy, so i just added my lucky number. I did my own install as i am a motor cyle mechanic and it is a direct plug in, makes it easy...
  9. Purchased one 2 weeks ago and have had nothing but trouble! Be weary if you are thinking of this cheap alternative! I'm shore i'll get it right eventually, but many more dollars to spend.
  10. Your help the other day with your power FC maps were more helpfull than ever! The car is now running well enough to run on the Microtech all the time. There is still some way to go though in checking full load maps at 15 psi. The trouble now is my clutch started to slip with 4 people in the car in 4th gear, on 12 psi, hate to see it on 15psi! What did you end up going for? (I'm not much for brass button unless you can convince me otherwise!):burnout:
  11. This looks great! Exactly what i,ve been looking for. Thanks for your help. Going to go out very soon and try them out. Having a loot of trouble with the idling side of things to, maybe i'm too lean, seams to idle well but when backed of to idle, drops way to low!!
  12. REV210 i noticed that you have adjustable timing, i have just purchased a LT-12 microtech for my R33 could you give me an idea on the timing you went for so i have something to go off. Such as total advance at what revs, flattens out to ___ at what revs and how maney degrees retard at what boost, and mayby even what advance at light throtal vacume. Anything would help i think you said 20 deg total so im estimating 30 deg flat from 4000 revs and 10 deg retard due to 10psi of boost. :uh-huh:
