  1. keep it low, looks f**king rad. Im abit closer to your now, but still not to your level
  2. I had the choice of Cheap 33 gtr or nice R34 gtt... i went the 34 obviously, main thing that swung me was the interior. R33s are just bland inside for me sadly. I think nissan could have put in abit more effort!
  3. WTB R34 gtt air con plasitc cover surround thingy. Paint stripper didnt like mine, so im chasing a new one! pm or msg 0420943163
  4. Pm'ed on the wheels dude Cheers for the comment aswell, as Basti said, it needs a deeper rear bar and the side skirts to complete the look. If you take spoilers off, usually you have to ad something down low so the the rear doesnt look so small. Nismo skirts for the side and the Nismo S tune rear bar and my car will suit the no spoiler look alot more im hoping. oh and as usual it looks alot better in real life then in the pics. R34s look so boxy in pics, but i think you have to see them in real life to notice they are not so basic in design
  5. Damaged upon fitment. Promised a new set, never arrived. So now im in a shit fight with them. They are off the car until it gets sorted out. Hopefully something good happens in the end. a few more pics Time to start avoiding speed bumps here is the old heights
  6. here it is dropped. its lower then the pics seem to look - wheels are in the guard at the rear and moreso at the front
  7. I used to like my front bar, but now i want the nismo front and east bear lip. That shits hot, simple not dicky
  8. dropped mine over easter... pics coming driveway and car no longer get along
  9. Man i want your rear bar! Nismo s tune bar very nice!
  10. Nah. i was sort of checking all things over the one pull apart of my engine bay. i got to that next lol. i always suspected gasket problems, but never expected my turbo to be detaching itself from the mani! good ending for me anyway
  11. PROBLEM SOLVED... not actually the gasket, but all related in the end. The nuts on the flange holding my turbo to the manifold were basically falling off. One out of 4 i needed a spanner for, the rest were an easy finger twist off. All tightened up, of course im now spooling up quicker, noise gone, easy fix. Turbo is boosting fine. Suprisingly the gasket held up fine and wasnt damaged.
  12. Man pedro i could have needed that turbo! if only mine shit itself a few weeks earlier. Pedro when you pulled yours off how much end to end movement was there in the shaft? noticable, or minimal. havnt checked them. easiest thing to check first was the compressor wheel. wasnt easy, but im not having to pull off oil and water lines! turbo just seems to have abit too much front to back movement
  13. Lots more detail to come then that tim! lol. Plenty of good quality extras on it
  14. Sorry dan that was a typo, there are NO wear marks. Lol what a typo to throw people off with
  15. no-one knows an accepted figure. felt a brand new one today, it had less of course, but still has play. so its hard to say whether mine is normal or too much
  16. all these hi flows being destroy lately is scarring me. Im looking like im gonna need a new turbo now
  17. Just when im considering a hi flow - thread steal! check my thread aswell turbo gurus lol. Need your advice On topic, thats pretty harsh.
  18. Update guys and grrrls. Pulled the front inlet pipe off the turbo last night, oh what a horrible job. Anyway, back to what I found. There are NO (sorry big typo mistake) wear marks at the front of the compressor housing. The turbo is spinning well when turned with just your fingers. Shaft play side to side is very minimal. HOWEVER. there is around .5 - 1mm of play backwards and forwards (as in pushing the wheels towards the dump pipe, pulling back etc). actually there is enough to make a small noise when doing it. So my question is how much play does everyone elses turbos have. Being ball bearing, any play at all is not good right? Looks like it may be new turbo time. Turbo looks perfect, but its the back and forwards movement thats the worry. So basically how much is acceptable/normal on a ball bearing turbo like mine? I have read that it will always have some side to side movement when there is no oil in the turbo, but this doesnt affected end to end movement? correct? basically ive searched and read that end to end play = not good, but im just wondering how much is normal
  19. AME model art from memory chris. You rtalking about the candy red one?
  20. Glad to see it turned out well! post up some pics for everyone to see
  21. the white plug and black pip is for your climate control. remember to plug it back in... last time i didnt, and it turns out 18degrees is aircon and 18.5 is heater without it plugged in lol.
  22. Yeh the motor to change the angle works whether you got xenons or not, its simply a motor and a few cogs, the bulb doesnt affect its operation at all
  23. and this is the outcome!
  24. Either way its a low reading. Most 32 GTRs fairly stocko ive seen are always running at least 100mph. And you wont get that mph if the reading is a fairly accurate 150rwkw.
  25. About an hour... Firstly unscrew screws holding the plastic cover on around the shaft of your steering wheel. Remove these. Then lower the tilt of the wheel to its lowest possible. There are two screws (from memory) holding the cluster plastic cover to the top of the dash, remove these. Then the plastic front facia should pull out (might need a flat headed screw driver to lever it out) Then your basically into the dash, so the screw from there are visible. There are 3 clips holding the wires in the dash at the rear, these are a bitch, and will take the most time stuffing around. For advice, once the LEDs are in, DONT fully clip all of these back in, push them enough so the dash has power, but not so they are clipped. This is because if you have the polarity wrong on the LED and some one turn on, your back to square one with getting the clips undone. The cluster itself is very tight to remove. Work around a couple of ways, angles tilts etc til you get it. From then its time to put it all back together. CHeck the LEDS are working first. As for the Triple gauges, well the air con vent below simple pops out (Flat head screw driver again). Then there are i think 3 screws, and the triple gauge cluster is out. As for Air con, i dont know cause i didnt do these. Hope this helps!
