  1. I Would like a SAFE 330-350rwkw but more is always welcome just want to know what's the most I could get out of this set up safely.
  2. Thanks For the input fella's. Ive had the car running with the bottom end set up how it is for awhile now just With a RB30et running probably 200Rwkw. The piston are 8.5cr, the rods are ACL but not H-Beam or anything, i was fairly sure the pistons were forged?? The heads got new valves and stronger springs and was recod but the same can't be said for the lifters Any idea of power figures?
  3. Hey, So I've Finally got around to building a RB30DET for THE-31 which is my Aus Spec R31 TI Which was bought new back I'n the day by my grand parents and handed down. So what i acutely want to know with MY set up (not someone else's) is what power figures i would be looking at? What are my Restrictions? And what are my weak points? Here is what i have. Block: - RB30E - Bored 40Thou Over - ACL Forged Pistons - ACL Rods - ACL Big & Small Bearings - ACL Gasket/Seal Kit - N1 Oil Pump - STD Crank - STD Water Pump - Underdriven Harmonic Balancer - STD Sump Head: - RB25DET - Ported & Polished - STD Valves - Stronger Springs - STD Lifters - Tomei Poncams 256 In/Ex - Works Adj Cam Gears - Greddy Copy Plenum - Q45 Throttle Body - Stainless Hi Mount - HKS Waste Gate - GT35/40 With AR.70/ M24 Front Housing - Split Fire Coil Packs - MLS 4 Layer Head Gasket - VRS Gaskets/Seals Fuel: - Bosch 044 - 2L Surg Tank - Denso 880CC Inj Also Have: - RB25DET Gear Box - Apexi Powrer FC - 3in Exhaust - 3in Stainless Dump Pipe - 600x300 Front Mount - B&M Oil Cooler Kit - STD Clutch Fan (Do Have EL Thermos But Took Them Out) What Do You's think?   4. How much did the sound differ on idel on the 33 when it was open and when it was close? if that makes sense, how much quieter did it make it? 20% 30% 40% 50% 60% more/less? also how much quieter at mid revs? at a guess

Skyline model = R31 Aus Spec Wheel diameter = 18in Wheel width = 7.5in Wheel Offset = 40 Tyre size = 225/40 Modifications to fit = 5mm Spaces On Front to clear Strut/Spring Plate, 30mm bolt ons for the rear ONLY for looks. Looking at putting F - 19x8 - 55 Offset R - 19x10 - 37.5 Offset Recon these will fit?

  8. Hi All, Im Building a 25/30, just a couple of questions. Im not THAT familiar with rb25 heads. I have most of the parts togeather and done research into it, The parts i have are, - RB25DET Head (Reco'd, Ported, Polished, Heavier Springs) - Std cams - Greddy Plenum - Hi mount manifold - HKS waste gate - Garrett GT3540/GT35r - Std Loom - GTR Rail - Denso Injectors (800 or 880cc i cant recall) - Apexi Power FC - Rocker Covers - Cam Gears - Cam Buckels/Holders (Not sure exact name for them, the thing that hold the cams to the head) - CAS - Lifters - Cam Cover - Oil Restrictor - RB30DET Timing Belt - SplitFire Coil Packs - CAS - Ingnition Box So Wat EXACTLY do i still need? Please BE fussy and specific. Also what do i need exactly for the plenum as in air vaules and sensors for the greddy plenum? any thing i dont need on the electric side of things when using Power FC? What else do i need for the conversion other then mods for timing tensioner, and welding the oil gallery? I know i still need: - Oil & Water Lines - Dump Pipe - WasteGate Pipe - Throttle Body - ARP Head Studs - Gasket/Seal Kit for Head Anyone know where i can get some of the parts from? Mainly Need to know what i need is need to the greddy plenum, i have NO electrics for the head or plenum and not sure what is needed as i dont have a standard plenum to get parts or see what parts it has. Blue interior like the 31's so atm im just wondering if any one would be interested, ill be open to offers because im not sure how much its all worth, would like to sell as a whole. contact me on here via PM im located in Mildura Vic 3500 cheers

Hey, - Im in need of some lifters for my rb25det head, i would prefer new but used is ok if in good condition. - GT35/40, GT35R, GT3582 what ever you like to call it, with a .82 housing i think it is, externaly gated, Prefer New. - FULL Gasket and Seal Kit for S2 RB25DET head. Also Do RB20DET Red Top Lifters Work In a RB25DET head? there the same size and will fit in no problem but not sure if they will work as the oil collar that goes around the outside is slightly low on one of the lifters (cant remember which head) i figired with the movment on the lifters they would have to pick up oil anyway?   15. mayb his the man to call. Still not 100% on the GT3540. not keen on the T04. Im still keen on 350+ just not sure how much power my set up will do. id like to get the most out of it and since im buying a new turbo i would want it holding me back and havin to buy another one. i deff want garrett.

Rb30 Fully forged and oversized bottom end, all acl pistons, rods, seals, gaskets, bearings, n1 oil pump, underdriven harmonic balencer, block was acid dipped bored 40thou over decked. head is Rb25det s2 reco'd, ported n polished, stronger valves, springs, std cams, and lifters. power fc, 2x z32 afm, hi mount, 850cc or 880cc cant remember but there denso's. think thats about it. what turbo size would i be looking at? wanna go big power but dont want it toooo laggy.

  19. So My Turbo Is No Good For Rb30DET? i only need to get a few more things togeather to finish the build, also quick question are RB20Det red top lifters the same as RB25DET ones? just a question. mayb i start a build thread.
