In words that you will understand “Your hot for some man sausage you front bum!” Ok now thats over, lets talk about the "Corsair Challange" I think the sedan dropping its load all over the track ruiened what was going to be a level playing field. Phil did a 1.46.14 to start off, Steve did a 1.42.XX Adam did a 1.40.1X Oil spil Paul did a 1.46.46 John did a 1.40.08 Phil did a 1.42.xx Paul did a 1.39.87 John has the exact times. The car survived and showed no signes of not being able to play again. With the entry money, john will be able to replace the clutch and get some mods ready ready for next round. Well done everyone, and lets get ready to play next time!

Not me I had to work

Yup, it was a great day. I got to drive 4 cars throughout the day. breaking the 1.40's in the corsair challange was one of the highlights, the next was putting the 2 tone territory through its paces. I did 175km in the GTR, 10 laps in the territory and about 8 laps in the corsair, and I rounded the day out with 3 laps in Abo's weapon, until the fuel light came on. All in all I think I spent more money on petrol then track hire, thats the way it should always be. I will continue to chase OP for L2S days and keep the post up and current. As it gets hotter I would encourage everyone not to do too many track days. Thanks to everyone who played in the corsair challange, the car lasted so I cant see why it wont keep running, with the entry fee's , john should be able to keep the car running.

Just lost one of our drivers, Steve (White WRX) has to work and cant get the day off. I think he is just scared like the rest of you!

You need, the following. 1. Road worthy car with good tyres. 2. Helmet Oz STD and head to toe non flammable clothes. 3. L2S licence. You must be a CAMS club full member (ie SAU) and buy a 12 month licence for $82 from cams. Sometimes you need a Blue triangle for your battery and a fire extinguisher in the car, for a full run CAMS event, but not needed for these L2S days. Thanks

Lingeringsoul, I just called OP to confirm that Thursday will be on for abour 6-8 of us. I questioned the change of Wed from a 1/2 to a full day. She said she would still allow $50 for anyone who wants to do a the afternoon only. Your call but she said you should still come.

They are able to change with no notice, they must have changed it to a full day. I have to go back with numbers today, I will let them know there will be about 8 of us for thursday.

There was no inspection last track day, and I did not have one, so not needed.

A quick call to OP confirmed that the day is still on the 19th. She advised that there can only be a max of 4 people on the track at once, otherwise it has to be marshalled and fire points around the track. I committed we would group ourselves into groups of 4 before hitting the track.
