well i got quoted over the phone to get it installed completely for 2k around and i can get a motor for 1500 so 3500 all should be well:P any other lurking costs?

so should i be bargaining around 5k for the whole thing done?

are remaps cheaper then that ? where would be a good place to get remaps, so how much id it cost to convert yours or did u do it yourself? how much do you think the whole wiring proccess would cost with getting the motor out/in? Cheers mate Nathan

cheers for the quick response mate, so if i go witht he rb25 i will also have to factor in remapping the ecu? which is a good $600, is there anyway you can use the r33 ecu and have it running like that? with both the options with wiring, how much would it cost to hack up the loom like that? how much did your conversion cost roughly excluding motor mate? hi all, rb20 motor is looking a lil tired playing with the possibility of putting a rb25 in it, What's everyones thoughts ? I know the 20's are lag monsters but when they hit boost theres just sumthing about them that makes you smile. ANyways what i also wanted to know is how much it would cost to chuck an rb25 in my already rb20 powered s13. I can get a motor with loom, ecu and all the shit minus box for 1500 or so,mechanic said he could strengthen the rb20 box for me for cheap. So what i really want to know from people that know what they are talking about is how much it will cost to get the loom all working, with the rb25 put in. Is there anything else that will have to be changed excluding the loom, as there was already a rb20 in there? If anyone could help us out with there experinces. so apart from oil blockage in the oil feed noone has any input? anyone know of anything else it could be?

hey thanks for the help, the turbo is a gcg highflow 500hp turbo, im pretty sure its ball bearing, i have a braided turbo oil line, the engine has had no problems except this.. runs so smooth..just starving the turbo.

hey all i drive a rb20 s13. Anyways keep the story short. i blew my turbo up a while ago.. took it to get rebuilt, and it seems that there wasnt enough oil going into the turbo.. so this means there is something wrong witht he feeding point. I know it could be a blocked line, however im not sure, and keep thinking it could be something to do with low oil pressure. What would be causing this problem??? Anyways was wondering if anyone else knows anything about this issue, and what soughta cost these problems can bring along. I know if its too expensive, i will just be throwing in a another rb20 for around 1500.. thanks for your help boys/girls Nathan

hey all, i know this is my first post, but ive been using these forums for a while. hopefully post count dosent matter. Anyways, ive got a rb20 s13, had it for a while now. It has front mount, fuel pump,regulator. Now ive had a standard turbo which was highflowed to 450hp. It has some balls, but shit it was a lag monster, full boost didnt hit till 4500-4800rpm Anyways, ive come to the conclusion that the turbo has pretty much shat itself. its blowing oil out the exhaust all over the place SO it's time to replace it. This is where all you turbo pros can help me out. I want something responsive and fast sppooling, however i dont want to pay for it by losing a shit load of power. So if anyone can mention a few turbo's that are are responsive, and come on quickly, and can handle high power, id love to hear some options and prices if anyone knows them..
