  2. PLease help

    I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this problem.

    I have an R32 Gts-t which i believe is 4 wheel steer, all seems to be ok but once i get to 80kms the steering wheel starts pulling to the right yet the car is still driving straight??? Once i drop below 80 the steering wheel corrects itself again. Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it??? Its really Pi$$ing me off!

    yeah mine did the same thing and yeah its annoying..........i noticed it only started doing it after i fitted the boss kit and steering wheel, is it the same case for you???

  3. Just had compression test done

    Results came back rubbish

    Between 111-114 across all six.

    Mechanic said he is going to use another dial just to be certain, as the wear is very even.

    Wouldnt rubbish figures like that be showing serious deteriorating performance signs??? I had this done out of curiosity as i was just about to upgrade turbo. Still performs like it always has. Really well. Has a 125k on the clock

    for your interest i just did an engine swap but tested my rb20 (cold test) which has 339000km on it, i got between 120-127 on mine

  4. The wheels are 18x9 +7 front and 18x10 +7 rear.

    hey mate any trouble with the tyres hitting upper control arm in fronts......looking at getting new rims for mine the lenso d1r and not sure bout offsets........this is why i ask

    by the way my conversion to a 25 worked pretty smoothly though i had someone do it for me......biggest drama was getting speedo working really with the 25 box

    looking at purchasing some new wheels for my r32 gtst. At moment i have 18's with 225/40/18 tyres......was thinking of going 17's in lenso d1r but still unsure whether 17's or 18's.

    i need help with widths and offsets for new wheels, dont really want to guard roll or modify anything extensively to get new wheels to fit. the current wheels fit inside guards and tyres fit flush with edge of rim pretty well.

    i have the following options for the d1r's:

    17X8 +33 30mm dish

    17X9 +35 (black/red lip) 60mm dish

    17x9 +30 (silver only)

    17x9 -4 60mm dish (silver only)

    17x9 +17 (black/red lip only)

    17x10 +15 90mm dish

    what size will be a nice fit on my car, wanting some dish on the rear and like i said wider on rear too.

    what do you guys reckon will fit the car nicely??

    I own an r32 gtst skyline........swapped for a rb25, tuned yesterday

    Other mods performed whilst doing the conversion are as follows:

    all parts new except the afm

    garrett 3071r

    apexi power fc

    600cc injectors

    osgiken twin plate

    greddy profecb spec II

    z32 afm

    While it had the rb20 in it i had already done the usual bolt ons, 3" turbo back mandrel exhaust, kn airfilter in stock box, trust intercooler 600x300, walbro hp fuel pump. Never did a dyno run with old engine and gear. All aftermarket gear mentioned here stayed in the car.......exhaust slightly modified.

    here is what power i made, remembering 40 degree heat and wheel spin. Oh yeah 17psi and 98 octane

    my fresher engine and box is in my car now so only waiting on wiring to be done. tuning not too far away so my question is about fuel. i have always used shell optimax/vpower on the rb20, but want peoples opinions on which they prefer........v power, ultimate or vortex????

    oh yeah tune with following specs: rb25det, power fc, 600cc injectors, high flow pump, garrett bb 3071r turbo

  8. Hi buyers,

    I have for sale a complete running engine (rb20det) including turbo, ecu and loom. I also have the rb20det 5 speed gearbox. I swapped engines (rb25) and need to sell this one as i do not have room to store it at home.

    It was the original engine and box that was previously in the car, still running till the day it was removed. The car was regularly serviced by myself at the recommended intervals and major parts being replaced when required. Before it was removed a cold compression test was performed with numbers in the range of 125 - 130 present on all cylinders. The engine has had most cooling hoses replaced, timing belt (inc seals) and water pump replaced approx 12 months ago(20000kms), new (maybe 5000kms) exedy heavy duty clutch. From memory the plugs will need changing though as there time is pretty much up. The car was in a stock condition(exhaust and kn filter only) and no track work of any kind had ever been done with the vehicle.

    Now for the honest part, the car was my daily driver (till march 2010, rarely driven since......maybe 5000kms) and subsequently the engine has ammassed a large number of km's over the eight years i have owned it.........340000kms to be exact. It was running fine and drove well till the day it was removed from the vehicle.

    It would suit an engine conversion ideally as i would prefer to sell the lot as a complete setup, but maybe willing to change my mind if the interest is present in the engine or gearbox seperately.

    I live in Sydney (Campbelltown) so pick up is preferred. I can arrange freight but it would be a cost paid by the buyer or the buyer could organize freight perhaps. I am willing to drop engine etc (palletised) to a logistics warehouse if it is local for shipping purposes. The engine and box can also be viewed at Ingleburn.

    The price (taking into account the kms) for the whole lot $1400, offers will be considered.

    I can post/email/sms photos if required also but everyone knows what they look like so i havnt yet....

    having a rb25 and box dropped into the 32gtst in the coming weeks with garrett 3071, power fc, injectors etc and am wanting the car the have a high/low boost setting ideally. my question is which one of the controllers would be better suited to my mods.......avcr or an eboost???

  10. Alright guys it turns out it was my master cylinder !!! Where can i find one for my R32? Anyone know of a place..?

    Apparently its "Special" because it has a bleeder on the top

    most nissan dealers should be able to get you one these days mate, campbelltown nissan on mill road is where i go

  11. Hi Guys,

    Jumped in the car the other day and the clutch felt a lot different... I could get into gears 1-5 but not reverse... The next day i couldnt get into any gear!

    I have had a look at the fluid levels and they are full no leaking? I had a similiar issue last year where the slave cylinder had shat itself and there was fluid leaking from underneath...

    Could it be the slave cylinder again? I only had it replaced not long ago and the car does not get driven much its mainly a weekender...

    Advice is appreciated!

    might sound silly of me to ask, but how old is the clutch???

    personally i reckon u need a new one, change the slave and at the same time they aint that expensive......u WILL appreciate it.

    sounds like the same symptoms i had 6 months ago, i finally cracked it not knowing how to fix it, thought the clutch aint that old (i put it in myself bout two years before) took the car to louis......clutch was f**ked.....new one, a week later the old slave went. new slave perfecto till some f**ker stole it all again
