  1. Yes, you're right mate but that's just the turbo alone not including the oil/water lines, dump pipe, heat shield and shipping cost to Aust. Add all that up and you will be looking over 3K.

  6. Hi there, I have a as new condition (done 1,000km) Garrett GT2876R for Sale. It came of a friend SR20. (botling back the standard turbo to sale the car stock). This turbo can be modify to be bolted onto the RB25DET standard manifold (therefore using the same dump pipe) by machining out the standard T3 turbine housing to fit to the larger GT2876R turbine wheel for about $100. I can supply the R33 standard tubine housing if reqiured. Spec: Compressor Housing A/R -: 0.70a/r Turbine Housing A/R -: 0.64a/r Turbine Hsg.   11. Hi there, I have a set of Tomei 256 degree In / Ext cams with 8.5mm lift plus Greddy adjustable exhaust cam gear for sale. Never used and still in box. For late 97-98 R33 Skyine turbo engine with plastic cover crank angle sensor and R34 Skyline. Suitable for VVT, improve torque at low and high RPM, have quicker boost response for stock or bigger turbo and overall increased power at the wheels. Price: $850 Mobile: 0412 316 986
  12. Dondesto, If your car is a S1 or S2 without a plastic cover on the CAS which mean the car is pre build before 1997/8 than you should buy the cam kit for the series 1. Any series 2 build car after 1997/8 to 1988 r33 (change in CAS), will have the same CAS as a R34 skyline.

  14. discopotato03, I have one it in my R33, but with a .82 exhuast housing (integral waste gate). You can buy from Garrett a GT3540 (Same spec. to the Ford GT3540), but the compressor cover is .70 not .50 like the Ford and it come with a 1.06 exhuast housing (integral waste gate). The only different b/w the Ford exhaust housing is that it have the word "Ford" printed on it whereas the other have "Garrett". It is rated 700hp and you can get one from Ford for about $3,500. If you shop around for the Garrett version (the Ford turbo is Made by Garrett anyway) anything around the $2,500 is a good price. If you decided to go for is turbo then my advise is get the turbo supplier to quote you a price where they will custom fit a .82 exhuast housing (integral waste gate) instead of the 1.06 housing which come with the turbo, this would require machining of the housing to fit the bigger turbine wheel. When I fitted this turbo in the car with the 1.06 Ex housing; there were so much lag!! It was making full boost (9psi) at about 4500 to 5000 rpm (this was bad and not what i wanted). So, out the turbo when and in when the .82 Ex housing instead (much better; its making 9psi at about 3900 rpm). With this turbo, i am making 210 KW at the wheel with 12.5 psi. Mod includes; 3" exhoust, FMIC, Power FC, fuel pump, air filter and everything else is standard. I hope the information helps you. NisJet.
  15. Ylwgtr2, do you or any others know if the Power FC for the R33 will run an R34 CAS? I think I can get one. Joel, I already told Jason that all 96 series 2 to pre 97/9 series 2 dont have the different CAS. I think he knows that but they dont want to admit it. Anyway, I told him, i am happen to pay for the shipping cost for sending the new to me and the wrong cam back. And still waiting for his reply. At the end of the day either way (buy a new CAS, modding or exchanging the cam, it's going to cost me money but i want to do it the easiest and cheapest option).
  16. Thanks for the reply guys. Merli you are 100% right and they have send me the wrong ex cam. I tried telling Greenline (Jason Lee) that they have done a mistake but the only reply I had was " you specificed the car to a be series 2 and that's what we send you." Anyway, there's only two solution to this now; 1. send the ex cam back the Greenline for exchange to the right one. or 2. try getting my hand on a late series 2 crank angle senor. Ylwgtr2 you are right; the new cam do have a offset slot and the original is toothed drive.
  17. Hi Guys, I have just purchased a set of Tomei camshaft from Greenline for my R33 96 series 2 Skyline. The problem that I have is the Tomei exhaust cam crank angle sensor connection is different to the factory ex cam. I tried contacting Greenline to say that maybe they have send me the wrong ex cam but they said that's the exhaust cam for the series 2. As stated in the Tomei web Catalog for the R33, the series 2 model have a different crank angle sensor to a series 1. Is this right? The Ex cam part no. i have now is "EX 1426256085" stated for a series 2 but I think that one i need for my car is "EX 1412256085" for the series 1. Maybe, some of you are saying my skyline might of have a series 1 engine. But I just checked with a mate's series 2 skyline and the crank angle senor is the same as my ( fitting to the front of the ex cam).
