  2. It's a damper to smooth out the flow of fuel.

    Also I think NEO injectors are 350cc but I have no proof.

    As for GTR injectors needing a resistor pack - well maybe they do but they wont fit in the standard manifold so it's a moot point really.

    i was talking impedence high and low to change from gtr to gtt u will need a resistor pack to change them i went down that path a long time ago ..lol and learnt alot about the spray patterns as well if the spray pattern isnt the same the car will sound as though its missing.

    rc injectors fit the gtt but were meant for the gtr at the time is was the only known injector that u could get on the market for upgrading the injectors on the gtt that were bigger than the nismo items and power enterprise ones untill a year later when sard brought them out and the other thing that needed to be changed was the impedence as they are different from gtr to gtt so link from new zealnd had a resistor pack to change the impedence.

  3. yea, neo head requires different airflow. that's why the greddy full replacement is not a good idea on neo head 25's. still hope a full replacement plenum comes out for the neo

  4. Was having a conversation the other day with someone regarding skylines and the conversation went over to boost levels etc.

    one of the parts of the conversation was about high boost levels blowing open the valves

    is it possible for high boost aplications say 2 - 2.2 bar blowing the valves open?? what sort of boost pressure would it take to blow open a standard valve spring i was running 1.7bar on my standard head with uprated cams and never got a problem

    2.2bar even on 2bar they would be pushing open.....

  5. Hi Guys

    I have this two option turbo for my 34GTT Manual. What would you reckon to be a good street / highway bashing turbo for an internal stock engine. The reason why is because my next engine i wish to fit is an R32 or R33 GTR. The Garrett was formally on a 32GTR engine with a proper plate fitted to the cast iron manifold as a single turbosetup (i do not need to pay anything for this turbo..it's a gift). I will be running HKS FCon Vpro ECU and i was told the change from 25DET to 26DETT wuold be minimal while still retaining the GTT ECU for A/Con & other electrical components. The 2835 will come with a HKS dump pipe together.

    Current mods:

    Greddy Oil Cooler

    Blitz Downpipe

    HKS Drager Exhaust system

    Blitz Twin Core Radiator

    HKS FMIC

    HKS EVC 6

    Turbo install will be together with Upgraded Sard Fuel pump (running simultaneously with the original) and Nismo Fuel Regulators. I don't have sufficient cash for the Fcon Vpro ECU, so im wondering is it possible to run on low boost around .8 to 1 bar boost for the time being. Though i will do a standard dyno run to check the A/F after install.

    thats just sounds senseless if u wanted a gtr go buy one the other way too look at it is money versus power if i spent the same amount of money on a stock gtt then the engine swap to a rb26dett i bet you ill have more balls in the gtt with a rb25det..

  6. I think thats what he's sayin but im not sure how valid it is. Does someone with a bit of plenum knowledge wanna tell us what they think about silverbullets explanation for increased response...

    first of all besides the bling factor most people on this forum reckon u should change the plenum at 300rwkw but i disagree with this on the neo there is more to be had if changed earlier!

    ok then ive got a greddy plenum on the neo ..now normally u would upgrade the plenum with a much bigger turbo so i also have a much bigger turbo on the car ..

    ive recently made an adapter plate to make the runners longer on the greddy plenum and have recieved a 20% gain on midrange and top end just by simply making the runners longer.. meaning 20% = 20kw difference also the other difference was response all i can say is holy crap !!! its much more responsive ive got full boost between 3500-3700 all the way to 8500-9rpm.. i was very surprised!

    when the adaptor plate was not in i was getting full boost by 4000-4500rpm.

    so i would like to know what plazmaman is telling silverbulletR33 about this runner crap .....?

  7. the reason you found this i was told by plazmaman was , Greddy has its own runners. where as Plazmaman retains stock runners. and just bolts up to them. the smaller runners give more torque with that plenum. creating more response :thumbsup:

    i cant believe someone wrote this.. sorry i think u should do a little bit more research regarding runner and there length ...that is way off base that remark..

    so your saying the shorter the runner the more response so there is less overall volume to pass through....?

  9. depends on wat rear housing wat you use but yer should be 300+ rwkw

    ok whatever even with the smallest housing .64 u can get 300rwkw with 13-15psi! opps and cams

    injectors sard have replacement remember 1cc = 1 hp

    so 550 and above

    fuel pump nismo good for 300rwkw

    or 044 bosch

    oil cooler and radiator upgrade -- if u want to track or at least an oil cooler because they do run hot just street trim with oil anyways.

    brakes:

    this just depends on what u want.. bigger disc slotted 330mm and decent pads would be suffice -(just)

    for street. you would have to go more hard core for track but as u said u want to show..

    Now fmic well pick a brand or get one locally made up heaps too chose from so do your research!

  15. IF you want the BEST turbo available on the market, bar none, its the Apexi RX6B series.

    Blistering response, massive power potential. But you pay through the nose.

    Unquestionably best of the best for response and good power.

    The Apexi turbo will make 280 rwkw and better than stock response on a skyline.

    really this is new......

    thats a big call for response even though i love the apexi turbo ... the rx6 with a p22 housing will still be laggy and it wont be as responsive as the stock turbo ..the rx6 is still very responsive as big turbo's go hey ill even say its awesome but it still wont be as respnsive as a 2835pro s or 3037 pro s.. the apexi turbo will make over 280rwkw no probs with that exhaust housing but bottom end beware!

    now options

    - 3037 pro s

    also fuel upgrade would be great , computer, hmmm shit i got a mental blank ...hahah

    ohh and the full kit for apexi costs over 7k but u also get the exhaust manifold...(they crack also..)

    lol 2k + for cams installed i dont know where u go but im sure you have been bent over and shafted...

    lets say 1k for cams so think its going to cost another 1k to install them...hhmmmm

    and head gasket 1.5k when just alone the head gasket cost 300 so u wanna pay 1.2k to install it geez roy u should really shop around....

    and satanic- explain impractical pls ...and 300rwkw isnt laggy hey i got 300 with a 2835pro s and there not laggy at all!..hhhmmm and shonen i heard he got 300 with the 3037 thats not laggy ....hmm
